I personally liked Kazuya's old f,F+2. A pretty solid and unique launcher. Speaking of which, Kazuya has gone through a lot of f,F+2s. The launching elbow, the quick high punch, and finally the Devil-style "Devil Fist".
The Devil Fist was originally from TTT1 Angel & Devil tho. It never was available to Kazuya except for when he's in Devil mode from TTT2 onwards. Technically it never belonged to Kazuya, cus it requires his Devil mode which is technically T2/TTT1 Devil to work.
He shouldve had Devil Fist since T5 because he merged with Devil at the end of T4. It makes sense canonically and it always bothered me they didn't make Devil a separate character who played differently from DVJ or at least incorporated some of his moves into Kazuya. Feels like he's sugarcoating.
Kaz in T5DR was simply too solid and fun. BTW, would you like to make an analysis of Anna Williams from her T5 version into her stronger form in T5DR? She's my favorite.
The justframe hellsweep was NOT CD+4:1 but CD+4:4. The second sweep actually launches. From that, you can obviously get a combo which is a lot better than just doing CD+4:1. That was the point of the justframe, to launch with the second sweep, not to do extra 3 damage when doing the mid punch (trying to time the punch for 3 more damage is just not worth it over the normal CD+4,1 imho). There is also a range requirement to it because the first sweep should not be a knockdown, so it's not meant to hit at clean hit range. You have to hit with the tip of the first sweep (no knockdown) and then time the second sweep properly (causes knockdown into combo). If you're causing the knockdown with the first sweep then you're doing it wrong. It's extremely hard to get it to work in an actual match because of both the range needed on the first sweep + the timing on the second sweep. But if you can get it to work you are rewarded with a low hitting launcher that deals meaty damage. Way above a normal hellsweep. This justframe existed ever since TTT1 (was also available to Angel/Devil cus they have the same double hellsweep Kazuya has) all the way into T5DR, the last Tekken to feature it.
ah yes tekken 5... where all mishimas' 112 wall-splatted, where devil jin was the strongest character to exist, where kazuya makes dorya hit much harder than tekken 6 to tekken 8, where heihachi has 13f launcher
Hey! How about breakdown Baek Doo San in Tekken 5, DR, 6 and Tag 2? Such underrated character. He is not been in high tier in tekken history, but have cool animations, decent wall travel with flamingo cancel, flamingo transition itself has enormous sidestep right. He also have Mishima wavedash with WS attacks cancel.
Kaz Punishment: 5/5 112 and 122 for -10. 1+2 for -12 which is one of the best in the game at that frame disadvantage. EWGF from -14 on up. TP is a huge launcher that punishes a ton of lows and does around half life, when lacking in range he has ws+4,4 which still does a nice chunk. For even longer recovering lows he has ws+2 which also does around half life Offense: 5/5 With mid like f+4, ff+3, d/f+1,4 d/f+1,2 d/f+2 and lows like d/b+4, HS, d/b+3 he's got all he needs to break a turtle down. Whiff Punishment: 4/5 He doesn't have enough to punish low pokes/low jabs. EWGF covers all the rest, which is the only reason he's still around the 4 area. he lacks a quick, long range move like DJ's ff2 or Hei's d1 or deathfist. d/f+1,4 works as an OK mid punisher at best, but it doesn't come out too quick. Keep Out: 5/5 EWGF, a 14 frame move that will do about half life on hit, good range, fat hit box, unpunishable, and not easy to punish on whiff. Wake Up: 2/3 Kaz's d/f+3 hitting grounded is a great addition to his wakes ups as he now has a safe mid option to go along with the pluthera of lows that already hit grounded like HS, d+4 stomp and d/b+3. If d/f+3 hits a moving opponent he gets a free d/f+4,4 or d/f+1,f+2 spike. If it CH's he gets a juggle. Kaz has great moves to hit grounded opponents but doesn't have too many scenarios to set up his as most his juggles will end in d/f+4,4 or ewgf, his spike juggles often leave the opponent too far away to set up any nasty 50/50's and his catches do not reset. If they did, this would easily be a 5. Damage: 2/3 Damage in the low to high 50's, low 60's and if your super good mid 60's. Overall Rating: 23/26 T5DR Character Ranking List By Slips
@@mwkan772 yeah ok... but the thing i don't like is that it's too "party hard" now. Too much srings, auto thing Kazuya always had a different playstyle
Genuine question, how do you see frame data on older tekkens? I can only see it in T7&8 but older ones I run on an emulator and don’t see frame data options
Yeah kazuya in Tekken 5dr was more stronger than Tekken 8 kazuya right now if bandai Namco can balance him would be okay in the future alt least be A+tier because he is the final boss of the story in Tekken 8 so i think is pretty good if he get buff alt least for me that it
Its funny to think that tekken 8s adding all these mechanics and heat power up but theyre still prolly weaker than 3, tag 1 n 5 chars cuz they were on steroids :)
Kazuya's alternate Dark Resurrection colors really work for him!
so true

She was one of the most picked tournament characters in 5DR mostly due to her 50/50s having pushbacks. Idk what they were thinking 😂
she was amazing and I main her @@since2133
You know what I actually prefer those reddish brown pants on kazuya over his usual white pants
it looks so cool
You have great taste!
His tekken 8 drip looks gorgeous as well
It is a sick look

This kazuya would absolutely destroy t8 kazuya
after the t8 kazuya nerfs
This kazuya would murder t8 kazuya lol
I always liked DR maroon Kazuya always looked so slick.
The 12 frame twin pistons is wild
I like this Kazuya more than tekken 8 one (also about movepool)
And that Doreya it's hard
I think they will buff kazuya in the final version
@@mwkan772 yeah ok... but the thing i don't like is that it's too "party hard" now. Too much srings, auto thing
Kazuya always had a different playstyle
Seeing just frame hell sweep made me wonder if Kazuya had just frame variations for all of his moves, even grabs
The good ol "DORYA" was the best
indeed
The best version of Kazuya
Have a nice Christmas

Was b1 a good enugh mid poke? Couse Kaz has some issues with mids although he did have a good df2
yeah, he certainly has his issues with his kid alright
His f4 is plus on block and launches crouching opponents. He had an amazing mid
it's best use was at the wall
Traz um da nina no DR
