- Este es un vídeo de un nido de oropéndola que tuve la suerte de toparme con él, cuando lo encontré ya estaba construido y con huevos, desde este momento lo estuve filmando todos los días hasta el momento en que los pollos realizaban sus primeros vuelos a los árboles próximos, esto fue desde el 16 de mayo hasta el 9 de junio, he decidido dividirlo en varias partes ya que la cantidad de tiempo de filmación es grande, pero también entiendo su interés. Todo este tiempo me ha servido para conocer mejor a un ave demasiado esquiva, pude ver el reparto de las tareas, costumbres, alimentación, etc., el nido se quedó muy pronto pequeño para los tres pollos, por lo que se salían y comenzaban a dispersarse por las ramas. Pude observar que en la fase de incubación, cuando realizaban el relevo, mantenían alguna relación social con otros ejemplares con los que compartían espacio, juntándose en pequeños grupos, tanto los machos con otros machos, como las hembras con otras hembras, parecían tener sincronizados estos cambios, una vez nacidos los pollos deje de ver este comportamiento, entiendo que todo el tiempo lo dedicaban a llevar alimentos al nido, siendo este variado entre distintas especies de insectos y frutos, especialmente moras que había en abundancia en la zona. Toda la filmación la realicé estando totalmente visible sin interferir en nada en su vida, no mostraron desconfianza, es más parecían interesadas también en lo que yo hacía, algo realmente raro y toda una suerte, unida a que el lugar elegido para ubicar el nido, tampoco estaba muy oculto entre las hojas como hacen siempre. All this time has helped me to get to know a bird that is too elusive, I was able to see the distribution of tasks, customs, food, etc., the nest soon became too small for the three chicks, so they would get out and begin to disperse on the branches. I was able to observe that in the incubation phase, when they carried out the relay, they maintained some social relationship with other specimens with which they shared space, coming together in small groups, both males with other males, and females with other females, they seemed to have synchronized these changes, once the chicks were born I stopped seeing this behavior, I understand that all the time was dedicated to bringing food to the nest, this being varied between different species of insects and fruits, especially blackberries that were abundant in the area. I did all the filming while being totally visible without interfering in anything in their life, they did not show distrust, what's more, they also seemed interested in what I was doing, something really strange and lucky, together with the fact that the place chosen to locate the nest, It wasn't quite hidden in the leaves either, as they always do. Hola Carmen, seguro que lo verás algún día es cuestión de tiempo, yo tuve mucha suerte lo encontré sin buscarlo, además una pareja que no le molestaba mi presencia cómo puedes ver en el vídeo, algo realmente raro ya que a cientos de metros ya están protestando y se ponen muy nerviosas, cómo estaba a pocos kilómetros de casa pasaba todos los días a verlos, los vi crecer día a día hasta que volaron, la pena es que estaban a contraluz, iré subiendo los vídeos por partes ya que creo que son curiosos y hay pocos, he aprendido mucho de su comportamiento y por supuesto disfrutado. Que tengas una feliz semana estimada amiga.

Cierto José es un ave muy esquiva, pero con ésta pareja tuve la suerte de cara, me permitieron pasar horas sin que se molestaran, algo realmente extraño, pude filmar cantidad de vídeos y realizar una enorme galeria de fotos, que iré subiendo, muchas gracias y recibe un abrazo.

Qué curioso, con lo desconfiadas que son normalmente. Por aquí las veo pero en seguida les pierdo la pista cuando se meten entre los árboles.
Sí no suelen dar ninguna facilidad lo he intentando en muchas ocasiones pero es imposible hasta que encontré a esta pareja, pasé muchas horas debajo del nido estando totalmente visible sin que les importara lo más mínimo, dudo que vuelva a tener otra ocasión así. Recibe un abrazo
