Love this style. Think i'll do this style for when baby arrives bit a lil bit longer. Cant believe how easy it is to do. Please keep the content coming, we are learning lots 😛🙏
Love it! I've done or I have gotten yarn twists for over 7 years and this method looks super easy. I'm going to use this method soon. How many pieces of yarn/wool did you use per section?
Looks nice. What if you want two tone color would you just use two different colors flipped and/or like a few strands of each color? I hope you can understand what I'm saying/asking.
Yes I understand, there are a few ways to do it. (1) Get yarn with two colors, some yarn come with two colors in a strand, (2) get the two colors you like, and do a 50:50 per color per twist. (3) alternate the colors per section, so for example do one black twist then one blonde twist. (4) do most of your hair one color then have the second color as highlights, so just at the front to kind of frame your face. I hope this helps.
Hi Ms lady so glad that I found your site, there is a few difference in the way I use to do it.I wasnt using rubberband which is much better and it looks better using them.My yarn is different and my ends I burn them
Hi, thank you for stopping by. I actually freak out in my mind about burning the ends. I just picture it going up in flames. But glad to hear that you are able to seal that way. The rubberbands are great cos I can't really do it neatly without, unless I braid first.
Wow I’m so trying this out. Did you experience any snagging of your natural hit around the elastic band as the base of the twist when taking the hair out?
I love your channel name😊 Accounting and finance major. This yarn is really smooth n soft I don’t think it will dry my hair out. I’ll be taking them down this week so I’ll let you know.
Good question, the mousse is use to help with fly ways, so.if ypu have hair sticking out you have use it. But if not, I guess ypu skip. I gave never used it on yarn.
@@electricescape1190 mmm honestly I am use to both and they both come easy to me. however yarn will have more texture, its not as smooth as synthetic hair so that may help. Also because of the texture it wouldnt slip as much as synthetic hair which would help. So i guess yes it would be easier tp grip. hope that helps
um so i know this video was a year ago but how many yarns did you use for this hairstyle and how many sections did you do? it looked amazing on you btw
I’m so sorry I got this from the market when I visited Nigeria. I will check around and add a link to what I find that is closed to what I used. Are you based in the US?
Hey girl, i feel like this is a trick question haha because i feel like twist out and senegalese twist are the same. so let me answer this way, if you assume senegalese twist is tighter then yes i do that, esp. at the roots, then i make my twist a little softer "twist out style" towards the bottom. hope this helps
Thank you, thank you for watching. I do not recall having issues with the gell flaking, but I did use oils on my scalp mayne this helped. Since I do hair videos my braids stay in for a week 🙈. I wouldnt leave them.in for longer than 6weeks.
In complete honesty, I don't itch with any kind of extension synthetic hair or the yarn/ wool. However Its definitely worth a try. Also have you tried doing a vinegar wash on braiding hair before using it? This may help with the itchiness.
It all honestly i haven't experienced breakage with rubber bands, as long as you take them out correctly. Don't try to pull it down your hair, Instead cut at the base. And also be very careful not to cut your hair.
When using rubber bands I soak them in oil. (any oil like olive, coconut, whtever u choose) it helps moisturize the hair. If the tensions not too tight you should not have any breakage.
I love how you did the rubberbands method. The Bob style fits you. Thanks for the wonderful collaboration 💕

New sub!! I actually have that yarn and was wondering what to do thank you!! So did you burn the ends? Or just left the bands as they were?
Hi welcome and thank you, I just left the bands. Kinda scared about the whole burning idea
Very nice
Love this!! Twisting mine soon

How many strands did u use? I always end up making them too skimpy 😬
Hi I used about 25 strands I believe
I have extra bags of braiding hair can I do that same method with the braiding hair that I have? Will it come out the same way?
Yes you can use the same method and it should look the same or very close.
Normally you rub up the hair when done with moouse and spray oil sheen. Is it necessary to do so with yarn?
Good question, the mousse is use to help with fly ways, so.if ypu have hair sticking out you have use it. But if not, I guess ypu skip. I gave never used it on yarn.
Thanks for this.I did it last year.

Thank you and welcome. so glad we are fam now 😀
Hi what makes this better than using braiding hair??
Some ppl find that they can't do the regular hair and yarn is all that works for them. For me the biggest difference is the weight. Extremely light!
And cheap!
@@ItsAbeeyola is it easier to grip with yarn than braiding hair?
@@electricescape1190 mmm honestly I am use to both and they both come easy to me. however yarn will have more texture, its not as smooth as synthetic hair so that may help. Are you twisting like a two strand twist (like twist out) or twisting like Senegalese twist?

Very beautiful hair style. You make it look very easy. How do you manage the white residue the gel after a day? How long did this hair last you?

Hello. Is there a reason why you didn't do the back? Thank you ❤️
Hi Lola, yes I wanted the twists to be about chin length, and the hair at the back was longer.

I really love the style but how does one make the back like you did with a short twa. Do I just leave it bare since it's not too long to be woven?
Thank you, Yes that is what I would do.
Hi Abeeyola, new subbie here from DN. Can this style be done on short natural hair (2 inches)?
