One of the hardest decisions you'll ever face in life is choosing whether to walk away or try harder first try hard and if doesn't work - leave but think hard about giving up after the Don't make permanent decisions based on temporary situations and when valleys of despair
Game changer when I finally started to stop reading books I didn't like, instead of forcing myself to finish them. :D It's easier for me to stop something if I find the process, the way to get there, fun. When I do something just to get the result, it feels more like "failure" when I stop half way.
That's interesting that it's like that for you. I would imagine that if you enjoy the process it would make you want to quit less! The second part makes sense though. If the ONLY thing you were striving for was the result, then yeah, not getting to it can feel like a real failure.
@@ChristianClaus13 I think it's because if the process already feels like a "win", then the goal or the result does not really matter as much. (I hope this makes sense, haha)
The new book is called "I Want to Die But I Want to Eat Tteokpokki" by Baek Se-hee. It's a Korean book that a friend gave me for my birthday -- I might make a video about it some day :D
Then comes the curve where it goes up, before that most people give up, most people never experience this seesaw. When people give up just before they reach it, that's your moment, endure it
I've done that a few times, pushing through until I hit the inflection point and the achievement becomes easier. But suddenly, years later, when I was working in the career and playing the instrument and being in the relationship, I realized I hated them all and I should have heeded my instincts to quit. I had a life of things I had forced myself to trudge along with. I was accomplished on paper, but had betrayed my soul.

It's so hard to let go of things sometimes, but absolutely the best thing also! Hope the new book is far more enjoyable.

I am a fighter not a quitter
Fighting for the wrong cause is worse than not fighting at all.
A winner is a loser who tries AGAIN and learns from his first mistake - first try hard
