One thing about the fries at in and out, we found out that you can ask for the fries not to be cooked in sunflower oil which throws the taste and consistency of the fries 🍟 off. We ordered them without sunflower oil and they were 🔥 🔥 🔥 in and out for the Win
I actually like the fries from In-n-Out. They cut the potatoes themselves in house. They only get hated on because most people are used to preservative packed fries that come frozen in bags.
In-n-out fries are straight cardboard because they don’t choose to soak the fries in water to drain the excess starch, and choose to fry them literally after cutting the fries. It provides an unpleasant texture. Often times to make crispy and deliciously fluffy fries, you’d soak the fries in water, then drain them. Once drained, you pat dry for an initial fry or boil. Then you freeze them for a second fry, or you refry them again at a higher temperature after the initial fry or boil. That is what McDonald’s does, and that shit makes it bussin. I’ll enjoy my preservative filled fries over chewing on cardboard.

I agree with you! They also use peanut oil which is a much healthier option, just wish they would soak or wash off the extra strath for a bit more texture. Nevertheless, I enjoy tf out of them!
