Disney land as a singular park absolutely destroys the Magic Kingdom. However, the accumulated sum of all the Disney parks in Orlando, it wins.
Yes my main comparison was the magic kingdom parks :)
I grew up in Southern California in the 90s and have been to Disneyland many, many, times. When I first walked into MK @ WDW, I was blown away 😮. I like it so much better than DL for some reason.

Loved this. I grew up in So. Cal. Spent many many happy days at Disneyland in the 60’s & 70’s. I live in South AL now. Enjoyed this trip down memory lane. Calif. is such a beautiful state. I miss it. Your daughter is so pretty. Actually you two look alike! What a great time being with her.

So excited you posted this!! We are headed to DL for our first time next week!! I just got back from WDW this week from the Run Disney event. Main Street Moments is one of my favs! After watching this I am even more excited!!!

We agree on many things here Brian. We were there (Disneyland) in May and we noticed there were not any frantic vibes. I felt Thunder mountain, Space mountain, and Pirates were better than Magic Kingdom. In addition, Disneyland’s fantasy land is significantly better. There are so many more attractions and the theming is better. Lastly, we noticed several characters simply walking around and available for a experience. We literally bumped into Evil Queen and Snow White. They provided us a truly memorable experience. We love Disney World, but will absolutely visit Disneyland again!

I have never been to Disneyland myself. Always wanted to go but we go to Disney world. Disneyland seems more laid back also remember it’s NOT a tourist land That’s a huge reason right there. Enjoy. Glad you spent time with your daughter also.

Tomorrowland used to be my favorite area of Disneyland before that horrendous '90s makeover that ruined it. Disney needs to make that investment to return Tomorrowland to its former glory.

I was born in LA I live in Riverside county now it’s a lot nicer here.
NO! That park would not be there without the workers that run the joint. The bakers, the cooks, the stockers, the street sweepers, the painters and repair men. You know, all those under paid employees you could not give a rats asp about. You probably ate more food than a single disney park cast member can eat outside the park in a week. They are so underpaid its deplorable. I know of 32 members by name that have to live in their cars, mini vans and homeless shelters because they are paid so little. The next time you buy some food at the Disney park, buy something for a cast member. They are not allowed by Disney law to show it and cam not accept it unless you offer it 3 times, but trust me, they will be more grateful than you think. That Happiest Place on earth is being run by very unhappy people. Every time you laugh, their hungry and their hearts are breaking. While you are looking around to see what ride is nearby, a cast member is looking around to see if the security "mouse Spies" are watching them as they have to scratch their face or swat a fly. And you DO KNOW that you cannot go anywhere in the park without disney spies knowing where you are. Those wristbands they give people are tracking devices. Your license plate is scanned, your weight is being monitored by seismic pads in the pavement to see where you walk. sound and video detectors are all over the park. Even the toilets have weight detectors and cams on them. If you are not having fun or say something negative, the park owners know it. And they will use it against you at your next visit. It's all a very dark illusion.
I agree that cast members are treated poorly but that got a little crazy at the end
@@gonzo96 I have three close friends that work at Disneyland, one works within upper management and I talk with many others daily, that are very open about how they are treated and what they know first hand. So I know the real secrets and horrors of those parks. There are indeed microphones, cameras and weight detectors all over the parks, including in the bathroom stalls and under the tables at all restaurants. Disneyco, wants to know how long people are sitting and standing about. According to what I have found out, those at the top have a philosophy they go by: "A guest sitting is not riding nor buying." And all this determines if guests get discounts to return. If you do not want to believe it, well that's on you.
Florida has four parks. MK is the best.

As a former Magic Key holder I could not disagree more. There is nothing more magical these days than the Magic Kingdom: a one of a kind, consistently beautiful castle park.
DL over WDW?! No way! DW is 40 square miles! DL is the size of a walk-in closet. You can spend a month at DW and not even come close to experiencing everything! You can experience all of DL before lunch! Waaaaayyyyyy more to do at DW! Not even close!
