I can not even begin to clearly explain the pure joy and rapture this night brought after so long a wait. The Setting, The People, The Music, Dancing in the Pouring Rain aaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnnnd...THE BAND !
So many faces from near and far. Some I hadn't seen in months, some in years and, blessfully, some for more than a decade !!

I 100% love this band.
I got to see Donna FOUR nights in row in 2007 at Springfest in Florida They literally played every song they knew at the time. I was with a girl that i'd been dating for a few months so we were in that infatuation phase. I had plenty of money for overpriced festival food and merch. It was amazing.

Recently saw them for the first time at the Roots Revival in Live Oak Fl. without keyboards. Still blew me away! Cant wait to see them again. I can't believe that I have gone all this time without hearing or seeing them. Man have I missed out.

One of my favorite DTB shows was at Water Street Music hall (Rochester NY) during the Life's a Ride iteration of DTB. At one point the band went into one of their deep groove things they did at that time (and I sorely miss). I was doing my Hippie dance thing. At one point, the groove was so intense that I could no longer dance and stood stock still motionless. I was standing dead still in the middle of the hippie dance crowd completely overcome by the power of the music. While I was standing dumbstruck by the power of the music, someone tapped me on my shoulder and said, yeah these guys suck. His Ying was my Yang or vis versa. That said for the last couple of years DTB, I've been to many DTB shows and always left wishing they were as good they could be. That said, the new drummer is a monster I hope lifts DTB out of their doldrums
They evolve how music and love and life moves about the world. They are always amazing. I love your perspective and know they also find their grove and jam. Each show is unique and filled with music, love and light.

Im so sad that i never got to see that version of Donna. I think it was maybe 20111-2012 when i first saw them, and by that time Jim (i think it was Jim...the 2nd guitarist that was with them for a long time) had left the band. I've never seen them play with two guitarists. And since then the band has had at least one new member every time i've seen them. I've seen them more than 20 times. although half of those were festivals where they played more than one day.
So proud of you all; and your music. Thank you Tara and Jeb and Co. Go go Donno the Buffalo!💚

The sound of this recording is exceptional except for the crowd noise, which is a distraction. The people around the mic were talking amongst themselves the whole time! Anyone have a recommendation for their best live recording, either at a cost or on youtube?

Please keep in mind that, generally, shows from recent years will tend for the most part to have better sound than older ones....Enjoy!
