I think Zac Efron's wig in The Iron Claw should be an honorable mention, although Zac's performance is oscar worthy his wig is a Razzie. Before I talked crap about the wig I googled what the guy's hair he was playing looked like in the 80's and his hair wasn't that bad. So I don't know what happened with that wig but it wasn't wigging for me.
..and, he had more than 1 wig! Maybe 2! They just looked terrible yet the other guys had wigs that weren't as bad. With him being the lead, his hair should have looked so much more realistic.

This cracked me up, 😂. But I think the hair shows how hard her mother’s death hit her. When the movie opened she was still grieving and that’s what made her so vulnerable to the spirits. They used her grief to exploit her.

Yay!! The wig countdown! I so agree with your #1 because I was watching it and was also distracted like, "But why is her hair looking so...unkempt?" I assumed it was supposed to make her look either very damaged or very edgy, but I wasn't getting either of those from her portrayal, so I was kind of annoyed and just wanted her to fix her hair the whole time.
