- Join us on an exciting Chennai to Hyderabad road trip with our family! This 12-hour journey was filled with delicious food, beautiful sights, and memorable stops along the way.
We began our road trip from Chennai to Hyderabad with a hearty breakfast at Novotel Chamiers Road in Chennai before hitting the road. Our route took us through Chennai, Nellore, Ongole, Piduguralla, Miryalaguda, Nalgonda, Narkatpalle, and finally, Hyderabad.
Our first stop was for lunch at the famous Murali Krishna70 Restaurant in Nellore, where we enjoyed a scrumptious South Indian thali, complete with Nellore fish curry and fish fry. After lunch, we continued to Ongole, where we sampled some incredibly sweet local mangoes.
From Ongole, we left National Highway 16 and took State Highway 36, leading us near the border with Telangana. As we crossed into Telangana, we passed through Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, and Narkatpalle. We took a break at the famous Heritage Foods retail outlet in Narkatpalle for some delicious ice cream before driving straight to our home in Hyderabad.

Penna river is a separate river. Wo kisi aur river ko join nahi hote hai. Godavari and Krishna ki tarah seedha bay of Bengal mein jaate hain
