Ever notice that when some thing goes wrong it's usually something stupid small. Been lucky enough to not have this happen yet, but am waiting on it. Thank you for mentioning the G code for testing end stops. That is most useful, thank you.

My Ender 7 end stops dont have them metal things from factory... i tough you broke them when checking them :)
Well my 250$ Ender 7 now has an Manta E3EZ, CM4 4/32, LDO X and Y, 2xEZ5160RGB, 2xEZ2209 and a REAL Meanwell 350W that i molested by putting in a 80cm Noctua :P
Original it had a "Creality "Clone" but that has a 24v fan in it.
(And i got all if it working watching your video's :P ) printed about 6 spools with it. PLA and PETG...
