Abdullah wrote his own part. The guy who spoke about writing the lyrics was talking about Atif’s part. I was so surprised to hear Nick singing in Urdu, you really must have listened to it on repeat! Great job!
Oh & I found out that Atif wanted to be a cricket player but friends pushed him towards singing. He was actually in a professional cricket team. Also, he finished his A level which i think means grade 12 by 13 years of age, so yeah he's amazing.

Atif has sung a cricket song for T20 world cup last year in October with Faris Shafi, also produced by coke studio. He was talking about that song in the musical journey.
In a video I saw, Atif said he was selected for the Pakistan under 19 team stated he's a fast bowler.
The sarangi player in blue shirt was my music teacher. I didn't know he was sarangi player in this video lol cause I never watched the journey. He's brilliant

You're right Art can be interpreted in various ways...depending on your life experiences. I think song about "sensitivity" means be ok with feeling vulnerable & sad, hurt, & all the highs & lows that comes from being open minded & open-hearted. I think in South East Asian cultures, ppl are always taught to be so tough, you lose out on being strong enough to feel....esp. true for guys;)

If you guys enjoyed Abdullah Siddiqui then you should check out his solo songs. “Come thru” has been reacted to by other RUclipsrs, “surface”, “kids” these are all really good songs.
