You're right, Ali Sethi is already an established singer. The female singer Shae was gaining some popularity when she was just doing song covers on Instagram, I believe Coke Studio is her first professional venture.
Ali Sethi is not only a "popular" guy in Pakistan. He is dearly loved and adored across the whole Indian sub-continent and beyond! He is also known to be quite an intellectual, is a Harvard alumni, has years of training in Hindustani classical from legends of classical music, has already published a novel, and most importantly, a great human being!♥️ I hope you get to discover more gems of Desi music, and get to explore coke studio India and Bangladesh along with Pakistan coke studio!♥️
The older woman dancer is very famous here. She was doing a dance in which she is translating the lyrics into dance , eg when the lyrics say "protect you in my arms" the dance step also does that.
Ali Sethi is a Harvard graduate and an absolute living legend of Pakistan. He is one of the most technically sound singers Pakistan has to offer right now. His parents are very famous and senior journalists of Pakistan and even his sister is an actress and sometime features in his own songs.

In Lahore and villages all the houses have a common central courtyard. Where everyone gathers and shares food and tea. They make something sweet for the kids and some snacks to go with tea. Its not apartments but they are big houses with multiple floors. We have massive families. 4-6 siblings is common.
