- With the quarry closed due to heavy snow, Mavis is tasked to pull passengers for the first time. Gordon takes charge as her instructor, which only leads to trouble.

This was a great episode. Seems like you rewrote 'Gordon Takes Charge' and did it even better. Mavis fitted the role just right and what an incident Gordon had in the snow 😆. Well done to #RosietheCutie1995 for her performance of Mavis. The facial expressions are still impressive 👍.

I know some people are going to say that this is the best rewrite of "Gordon takes charge" but to me this is the best rewrite of "Mavis' special" by TheBuriedTruck!

Wonderful episode of this for winter theme, it's great to have Mavis along with Gordon as main roles, this one is similar and remake from the eighth series episode, Gordon Takes Charge and Mavis takes Percy's role is an excellent idea since episode 23, The Missing Tuba Player and the other two episodes like the same for the eighth series before, very looked forward for your next episode soon and a very Happy New Year to you!

Brilliant adaptation of Gordon Takes Charge! I enjoy the actual episode, but Mavis fits the bill in Percy's place. I laughed at Thomas' joke about Gordon's 'cold reception'.
I also love the addition of the tinsel on the engines and the MV of Christmastime at the Railway Station from STS (works well as an actual Thomas MV)!

Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo boy, Gordon Mavis did much better with this see the difference I mean, I ran across the ice as an person but I didn’t go too fast on the paths when icy and ran gentle for exercise on them for when in fresh air and didn’t slip at all was jogging but I didn’t go over fast on ice, Good that Gordon owned up for good and very good teaching for showing yes. Mavis is better than Percy and the story is better adapted. Mavis hasn’t had any experience with pulling passenger trains. Percy has pulled passengers and freight and I don’t understand why the writers thought Percy was incompetent at it.
