A friend on the continent says the Wuzungu are going around the continent buying up l a n d and paying cash....his price is to low. He should be asking 5 to 10 times his initial asking price.
@@muggiscorner Land has to be at an affordable price for the locals. Indians have India. Europeans have Europe. Ugandan land is for Ugandans. The population of Uganda is growing, that land belongs to future generations of Ugandans.
@Onlyfacts0224 What Ugandans own land in the USA? Yes the world is a small place but most Ugandans in foreign countries do not own land there, they might have a house which is not the same as owning ACRES of land. Many of these Ugandans in the diaspora eventually return home even after 50 years of living in Western countries. When they decide to return there should be land for them to rebuild and repatriat back into society. Foreigners should not own land in Uganda, it is a small country with a growing local population, that land belongs to the future generations of Ugandans. Foreigners are loaded with money while local Ugandans are not. That situation creates an imbalance that can lead many locals into becoming landless and servants to foreigners. That should never happen to locals in their country. The government of Uganda knows this.
@Onlyfacts0224 The world is not a free place when some countries earn more than others. Land should be priced at an affordable price for the locals and it belongs to the future generations of that country. We don't want locals to become landless in their countries. In the USA the Chinese and other foreign interests buy up large chunks of land and now millions of Americans can't afford land or homes. That is insane. There should always be smaller houses or small lots for people to buy at an affordable price. The USA is not a perfect example of how a country should run so don't use it as an example.
