Here is a video of me outside Luxor temple in Egypt attempting to learn the basic blocks of Egyptian stick fighting. Much to the amusement of the locals.
I like this video alot , I have finally seen the dangerous part of this art. Mostly all the videos we see of Tahtib is the dancing part , near the end you see the practitioner get a little serious. Nice !

And of course we still use sticks now.
Of course ,not you but we use it in a small fight Among men in villages and we sav it like a history

Garry Hearfield 5000 years I think, it's ancient Egyptian, but it's not a martial art anymore, it's more like a dance now
