Aridonis- Vancouver Outsider Arts Festival 2022

Community Arts Council of Vancouver presents the 6th Annual Vancouver Outsider Arts Festival (VOAF), a festival that offers opportunities for exhibition, performance, connection and learning to visual and performing artists facing social exclusion and other barriers. VOAF is Canada’s first and only festival for Outsider Art, which is represented by significant fairs and museums globally. The artists may be self-taught or trained: they are all devoted to their creative practices, and come from a point of view that is outside the mainstream art world trends.
ARIDONIS (he/him) is an indie-pop artist with a musical universe as broad as the events that inspire him. ​The Vancouver musician is proud of the DIY ethic that informs his work, performing nearly every instrument on each track he records. Music is just the tip of the iceberg-Aridonis does everything from music videos to merch design and hand-drawing the artwork for each release. Formed in late 2019, Aridonis has been relegated largely to the internet but the future burns bright.
