- This weekend up at the RANCH Chris and I get the post and beam set all in place for us to then move onto the ridge beam that sits in the centre of the peak of our front overhang. With this ridge beam in place we can then start on the 3x8 rough cut timber rafters that Chris hand milled on our sawmill back at home.
Join us as we, a family of 4 take you along our journey of buying bare land and converting it into a sustainable homestead. We show you the ups and downs of building our custom 3700 sqft house along with clearing 100 acres of land to convert into pasture for our livestock. All while living 250 kms away and maintaining a welding/fabrication business and small 31 acre hobby farm in the outskirts of town.

Oh what a beautiful calf 🥰
They sure are.
You are both amazing. I can tell by the banter you have with each other there’s true love ❤️. Thank you for sharing your journey with this old lady. It amazes me at the things you’ve done on this build. You scare the crap out of me at times but these videos are better than any movie. Keep the videos coming and I’ll keep watching. As always be safe. Congratulations on the new calf❤❤❤

Hi Chris & Georgia, another master piece in place. Great Job, hope you don't have to paint those high places. What's the exterior Hardy board? Smashingly Marvelous
We are still finalizing details. But most
Likely will have to paint.
What did we do before helaciously long screws? Glad you guys have figured out a way to work together and not let everything said get to you.
That’s a good question. Yes we are opposites which seem to make working together work.
