2:40 MP44 is not weird. It's a WWII German assault rifle... AK47 was derived from it. So obviously accessory rails were not standard equipment in the 1940's :P
Just last year they confiscated thousands of MP44\STG44 from ISIS that were being used in combat. The MP44 was only 3 years older than the AK47, it is still an amazing weapon to this day, very effective. Not crazy for it to be in any modern shooter.
As for the MP44 being in the game, it makes sense, in the Syrian Civil war and war in Iraq both sides have MP44s in use, while it is limited they're out there in battle, along with the Sks, mosin nagant, and garands.

I may be under 18, but I remember playing the original CoD 4 and having some great memories from playing with friends and playing the campaign. I wish I could play it without buying IW, but I will do what I must to revisit epic memories.
The only thing I would like to have in cod4 remastered is the smooth valuing over thing and the fluid climbing and jumping over thing with your gun in your hand still and being able to shoot at the same time when doing it.
What I appreciate about CoD 4 was you were as good as you were. There was nothing hindering you if you were a good player, and nothing pulling you in the right direction. The good player understood the way the map flowed, and pretty much where someone would be. You didn't have to deal with some kid going 3 and 23 who got lucky and killed you because he got his specialist. Good players were truly set apart from bad players in CoD 4. That is why I love it.

Not sure if you guys remember playing "Shipment" with friends, and being forced to hide in a corner and call in your helicopters over and over again, with the hope that your's will get called in before your friends' helos. That was a waste of time. You should be able to call in your helos in a queue.

I would like an slight update in killstreaks, although that might be better suited for an game update once the basic remastered version comes out. Another idea would be to keep both graphics systems -- old and new -- such as in Halo: Anniversary edition, that can be changed at the press of a button (only applies to campaign).
All the little scrubs that had like Advanced Warfare and Ghosts as their first COD experience are gonna be crying so hard when they get a taste of bare bones COD gameplay lol. .... ummm the reason why the MP44 doesn't have attachments was because it wasn't designed to, unlike the M4 ... cause ya know, it was developed during WW2. Weapon accessories/attachments were not a thing back then. That sort of stuff didn't really happen until post Vietnam.

I would like an slight update in killstreaks, although that might be better suited for an game update once the basic remastered version comes out. Another idea would be to keep both graphics systems -- old and new -- such as in Halo: Anniversary edition, that can be changed at the press of a button (only applies to campaign).
All the little scrubs that had like Advanced Warfare and Ghosts as their first COD experience are gonna be crying so hard when they get a taste of bare bones COD gameplay lol. I still remember every little trick, all the advantages, all the best routes, how to kill half an SnD team in the first few seconds and so on lol all these new post 2010 players are just gonna get obliterated lmao

.... ummm the reason why the MP44 doesn't have attachments was because it wasn't designed to, unlike the M4 ... cause ya know, it was developed during WW2. Weapon accessories/attachments were not a thing back then. That sort of stuff didn't really happen until post Vietnam.
