That area has crucial seagrass habitat for many crucial invertebrates important to the ecosystems of the area. That ferry dock will destroy the seagrass ecosystem that bay.

Scrap the entire thing and just install the ferry dock idea. That’s genius. People could finally have a smooth transition to the BVI. Agreed with other commenters on Facebook, why politicians in both the BVI and USVI approve these massive projects before fixing their schools is astonishing, the poor youth 😞

THE VI PORT AUTHORITY NEEDS TO GET WITH THE TIMES. BASIC MODERN AIRPORT DO NOT MIX PASSENGERS ,LUGGAGES DEPARTURES AND ARRIVALS STRUCTURE.

Awesome that when we go back in 2 weeks it is still an outdoor type airport where you can still walk on the tarmac to get to the plane.
