    Hi Joey. I recommend a Largemouth Bass or a Peacock Bass. ( If not both) Both fish are aggressive eaters but will not harm each other. And I recommend a Red Tail Catfish or a Hybrid Tiger Shovelnose Catfish.

    put white tiles on the floor joey, i feel like that would really help with being able to film the new fish, also what about a permanent underwater webcam that people can watch that is linked to your facebook or something.

    Build in LED strips behind the lips for the cover, instead of an overhead lamp.
    Also, it would be a nice touch, if you take a router to the outside edge.

    Awesome work!!! I'm building a fish room in my basement, inspired by the DIY videos you've put out! This is a great idea since I'm limited to the size of tank I can put in the fish room without tearing out door jams and wall to get it where I need it. I will be definitely doing a build like this for the Giants I would like to get. Keep up the great videos and inspiring hobbyists, like myself, across Canada and the rest of the world!!

    Hey Joey, your gallery is amazing. However I fear it will never be complete without a brackish tank. One of the 120s should do the trick. You could stock monos or puffers, mollies, please give it more thought as I and many others would find great joy in seeing this and experiencing it with you

  • @TheBlackZodiacGhost

    It's most likely sterile talcum powder (magnesium silicate), which is the main ingredient in baby powder. It's non-dilutable and can be rinsed off very easily. In those low concentrations it isn't toxic, but never the less it's a good idea to give it a good rinsing before usage.

  • @zombiehuntertim
    @zombiehuntertim 6 лет назад +1

    Great job, might not be everyone’s cup of tea but you show what is possible on a budget. I think the end product with a bit of stain on the wood and plants growing will look fantastic.

    You should put redtails in the pond! They are so beautiful!

  • @mattpace433
    @mattpace433 6 лет назад +1

    I think you should out a red tail catfish in the pond, please!!! They are so cool and I would love to see how you would raise it and that process!
    Also, I've been thinking about how you taught your lionfish to eat fresh foods and not live. I would love to see you do the same process with a mandarin goby dragonette. They are smaller but they are such a beautiful fish that many hobbyists want to keep but are just too afraid to. You teaching them to eat your homemade food or even flakes would be a really impressive journey!!! You're Awesome Joey! Hope you feel better man!

  • @graphite2786

    *IMPORTANT!!!*
    Whatever you do Joey do NOT put pacus or other giant herbivore tetra in your pond!!!!
    From previous experience they will chew that pond liner and cause leaks!
    Big soft mouth fish would work wonderfully - eg
    Gourami, barbs, bass, catfish but be very wary of any fish with hard dentine teeth ESPECIALLY HERBIVORES .
    Good luck with your fish stocking :)

    Just shipping powder they use to keep rubber from sticking to itself during shipping or high heat situations. And makes unfolding it much easier as rubber loves to grab against itself unless treated. I doubt its poisonous as its meant to be in contact with human skin and respiratorty and eyes. And if it was a problem they would post all kinds of warnings. However since its the liner for a fish pond its always best to rinse the liner off no matter what it was shipped with just to be safe.

    Okay, some ideas: Do submerged lighting and black sand or gravel, with some large rocks. Have a gentle flow in the tank so the fish can be viewed easily. Some lighter colored artificial plants would be a lovely contrast, along with the fish. Then for fish, oxydoras, giant gourami, red tail cat. Some big, snazzy fish.
