This interview with Roberta is such a blessing. I especially thank you both for including women who work outside the home as homemakers; we often get left out of that conversation. ❤

    Her mom was faithful!
We must be faithful in whatever we are given to steward.

I really enjoyed this conversation with Mrs. Roberta, she’s so lovely. If she’s willing to share, I’d love the recipe for those cookies, they looked so delicious omgosh 😊Perhaps she’ll be open to demonstrating how to make them in a video.
Thanks to her for sharing great hostess/homemaking tips and thanks to you for sharing such impactful content!

Do you have any advice for a homemaker that struggles with mental health issues and has a hard time getting everything done? I'm trying. I really am. I'm doing my best to lean on the Lord as I learn how to make my little trailer a home. It just gets really difficult sometimes and I often feel like I'm failing. This was a great video ❤

Honestly, I suffer at times as well. I have to pray throughout the day and keep my mind stayed on the Lord through reading His word & listening to scripture. I write down tasks that are important to get done for that day. I may only get a few done but it gets progressively better with the Lord’s help. We also need to give ourselves grace & times of healing.
      Isaiah 26:3-4 ESV
[3] You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. [4] Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD GOD is an everlasting rock.

@@Homemakersguide thank you so much for your response and scripture ❤️ I will keep that in mind as I continually learn how to make our space a home.
