We all love Spoby but let's admit this was heartbreaking... That last line got me emotional.

Of course I've always wanted Spencer and Toby together, but I also wanted them both to be happy. Toby was finally the happiest we've seen him this season. In Yvonne's final moments, you can see that. My heart breaks for him 😞💔

I didn't care about either. I've really never cared about "ships", probably because I'm not an immature 12 year old fangirl, and I also didn't care about Yvonne's death or Toby's reaction to it because Toby barely has any character traits outside of being a cute boy for the young fans to look at, so there no reason for me to care about him. The only characters on the show I actually care about are Hanna, Spencer, and Caleb.

Ballas&Hough Love how else are they going to get rid of Yvonne? Yea she didn't deserve to die but it's not like they would cheat on each other or Yvonne would dump Toby, they loved each other too much. But honestly, she shouldn't of died, if it came to that then they shouldn't have put spoby back together.
They could have had a simple break up scene between the two of them but after this episode it was clear that Toby loved Yvonne more than anything.....so killing her off just makes Spencer look like the second choice. It won't be realistic with 7 episodes left if Spoby get back together because Toby's wife just died.....The pll writers don't understand that not everyone has to be endgame...They should have let Toby and Spencer have happy endings individually....
Ballas&Hough Love Truth is they shouldn't have broken them up from the beginning, that was a stupid move on their part. They mess everything up when they tore all the original couples apart.
+Telisa Nelson nothing was wrong with breaking them up - it made sense because the characters grew apart from each other and wanted different things, like i said not every couple in every show has to be endgame. The writers just don't understand that, so unless they do a time jump in the finale, Spoby is going to be forced and nothing but fan-service.
Ballas&Hough Love I'm sorry but that growing apart thing is so cliche. If you want a relationship to stay close and together, you have to put in the effort and sacrifices to make it work. Which is the approach they should have been taking instead of splitting them up. It is something wrong when you just break couples up out of no where with nothing leading to it. We were jarred and hit out of no where with everyone breaking up. With explanations about it explain later. These people been together since the beginning and to have them break up heading towards the end of the series was a dumb move. I'm sorry but it was. Just like it was a dumb idea for them to place Spencer and Caleb together, knowing that wasn't right at all. I would have rather them be on their own and work their way back to each other, than to have them be pair up stupidly. Like I said it was just a stupid and faulty writing decision on their part to break these couples up towards the end of the game. Then people wonder why it seem off, callous, or cruel of the things they had to do (example having Toby married Yvonne and then have her die which was view as harsh) just to get things back the way it was, when it could have been avoided because they are the ones who cause problems in the first place.
Spencer and Toby out the hospital / Yvonne dies in the hospital / Caleb's in the hospital / Nichole is in arias apartment (Awkward) / in 7x14 we find out who killed Mrs Dilaurentis !!!😱😱😱 one thing I can say is this is one heck of a season
shippers are the worst people. They don't care who dies as long as their ship is endgame.

I'm Spoby Trash but honestly, this broke my heart. I hate that they killed off Yvonne, she was a wonderful, nice girl who did nothing wrong. Even Spencer knew, and she saw that Yvonne made Toby incredibly happy. I mean it makes sense that they kill her off because we all know Toby would have never hurt or left Yvonne, so this was the only way to make room for Spoby. But honestly, despite always having shipped Spoby more than any other couple on the show, I would have been more than fine with Toby getting a happy ending with Yvonne and Spencer getting with Marco Fury

yvonne was literally the most innocent character (she was so sweet and did literally nothing bad or wrong, but i bet that fans hated her because she was the daughter of the person who was running against mrs hasting for senate). then she just had to die. this was the saddest death in the whole series. period.
how come nobody talked about her death in the next episode. someone died and nobody cared about it??? I get it she wasn't one of the main characters but still?
OHMYGOSH I love Spoby and I wanted them together, but Yvonne was so young and she had so much potential. I didn't like her w Toby but I liked her as a person and she definitely did not deserve to die. I bet this was one of the times where Marlene tried to be slick and mess w Spoby to get us mad, but realized Toby is not the kind to date someone the fans hated so she was just like "ah screw it, last 10 eps we'll just kill his love interest, it's fine."

pappxxl It's not lazy story writing lol how the hell do suppose to die honestly it also happens in real life for an example cancer patients some of the patients seem like there getting better and just end up dying in the hospital bed or one of their family members arms. Everyone dies out of no where it's just boom like that you don't know what hits you weather it's a slow or fast death.

You shippers care more about being validated by having your ship end up together - regardless of if it makes sense for the characters or story. The last thing Toby needs is a new relationship, especially one as complicated as him and Spencer. She has moved on and is happy and Toby just watched the woman, his wife, he is in love with pass away. Ugh, I hate shippers.

I didn't think it was possible to feel so bad for someone you dislike. This was the saddest part of the episode without a doubt.

The fact that so many people just came here because of the hug in the end... I mean yeah, I ship spoby too but this is so heartbreaking. She died in front of Toby's eyes the second that they got married. Toby was the happiest person and he just lost that in minutes.

i’m rewatching this on netflix, and this scene is so heartbreaking. yes, i ship spoby, but these two still made each other super happy and it was messed up for her to get killed off. especially like this.

I think Toby knew. I think that the doctors told him that she wasn't going to make it and that's why he made sure she died a happily married woman. You could see it in his face when he asked "are you happy". I could also tell during that whole scene that she was going to die. But that doesn't make it any less heartbreaking 😢

Well, no matter how much camera view affects the way we see Yvonne, no one deserves to die just like that, and get heartbroken. Toby is the best example. The only thing that this gets us is a little happiness for Spoby shippers and suddently everyone forgets Toby has a friken life too -_- Oh well..

Ok, so I'm late to the party. I'm just now finishing the series and just watched this episode. and after Yvonne wakes up and I was kinda like, "yay! she didn't die" but then I was like, "how does Spoby remain end game?" and I was really hoping that the writers would get creative with the Spoby reunion but killing Yvonne for the sole purpose of Spoby seems so rushed and cliché. and while I know Spoby have A LOT of history together, having Toby go right back to Spencer is just something I wouldn't realistically see happening after losing someone he loved so much. All in all, I think Kara and Keagan do an incredible job bringing a lot of emotion to this scene because I cried. A lot. omg. Yoby 😭😭😭

Omg this was too heartbreaking. :( I am a Spoby shipper, but after seeing her and Marco hit it off, and seeing that ever-so-sweet hospital wedding scene, I thought, "okay, maybe this will work out, after all, it is more realistic...Spencer has moved on and is smiling again, and you can tell Toby has undying love for Yvonne that he wanted to marry her right then and there...maybe this is how it should be, and although I am a Spoby shipper, I don't mind this :)"...then she passes away. WHAAAt :( I'm freaking sad now, guys.

Guys I have a Theory. What if Toby killed Yvonne. Now hear me out here. Now what if the guys are all playing the game as well. They have to choose who they want to end up with. Take Caleb for example. He chose Hanna and that same episode Spencer, the girl he didn't choose got shot. Ezra chose Aria and that's why he went to NY bc Aria was safe since he chose her so he wanted to save Nicole also so that's why she's in his apartment. Lastly is Toby. He chose Spencer, and AD made him kill Yvonne or else "suffer the consequences" right? Toby did seem pretty prepared to see Spence run in and not shocked when Yvonne "died. Ezra ran off without a single word. And Caleb was the first pawn and didnt seem too shocked to see the game board either. Think about it y'all...
Toby is the most loyal man in rosewood like dude he has feelings for spencer but still stays with Yvonne and is heartbroken when she died

I really don't see how spoby will be endgame. Let's be real, Toby just lost the women he loved, the women he married knowing that she could die. There's no way he will be with Spencer in these last episodes, that's just not possible. Life doesn't work like that, and as much as I want spoby to end up together I just don't see how is that possible...
