  • Is It Possible to Holiday in Bantayan Island for Just $100 a Day? 🌴💸"
    We recently took on a budget travel challenge in beautiful Bantayan Island, Philippines to see if we could live comfortably on just $100 a day for two people. That's just 5600 pesos to cover everything from accommodation, food, and activities. Then after two days, we doubled our budget to $200 a day so that we could compare our experiences and help you plan your next trip!
    We had a great time relaxing and exploring this truly stunning island, enjoying some of the cheapest and best food in the Philippines and we were surprised we could still enjoy many beverages along the way... Sometimes maybe too many :)
    🏖️ $100/day Highlights:
    ✔️ Quaint beachfront accommodation at Sunrise Beach Resort.
    ✔️ Local eats (hello, fresh seafood! 🦞)
    ✔️ Fishing from the beach front resort
    ✔️ Exploring serene beaches and hidden gems by motorbike
    🌟 $200/day Splurge:
    ✔️ Upgraded to a more premium stay at Marlins Beach Resort 🌴
    ✔️ Indulged in premium dining 🍹
    ✔️ Private island tours 🚤
    So, can you enjoy an unforgettable tropical getaway on a tight budget? Or is splurging on the extras worth it? Find out in our latest video, where we break down the costs, and showcase the best of Bantayan Island.
    🎥 Watch now and let us know-do you prefer our $100 days or the $200? 👇

    Get Real folks! $100 a day in the Philippines is not budget. My monthly budget is no more than $30 a day.
    Good luck with your new channel. You need to trim your videos to no more than 25 minutes imo.

    Tita and uncle Matt what is gonna be your budget when you go to boracay?

      @TravelAsiaOnABudget  2 месяца назад

      Hey Luke! We’re doing one day at $100 and one day at $200. Think it will be more of a challenge in Boracay as everything is so much more expensive than Bantayan. Thanks for watching :)

    Bantayan Island is the perfect place to eat seafoods it cheap, better yet buy fish/sea shells yourselves and cook it to save even more. You wont find those prices in Boracay.

      Absolutely agree! Bantayan is far cheaper than Boracay and the seafood from the market was even half the price of what we pay in Cebu.

    Have you caught many fish in the Philippines?

    • @TravelAsiaOnABudget
      @TravelAsiaOnABudget  2 месяца назад +1

      Sadly no! We rented a boat in Siargao and there was too much run to get to the bottom but a lovely day out. Went to a marina in Cebu, caught two tiny fish. Went to a fish farm and couldn’t even catch a fish there! Seems like my skills from Australia has transferred to the Philippines. :)
