Portugal established a bridgehead in maritime Southeast Asia as the first European nation to do so in 1511, when it conquered the Sultanate of Malacca. Melaka is a historic city, also referred to as Malacca. Portugal ruled Malaka for 130 years, from 1511 to 1641. The Dutch then ruled for over 183 years, until the British took over till we gained our independence in 1957. From 1946 until 1957, Malacca was a colony of the British Crown. Following the Anglo-Dutch Treaty of 1824, it was administered by the British, but under the Malaccan Sultanate, it encompassed the entire Malay Peninsula and the eastern regions of Sumantra. As a result, whomever controlled Malacca was considered to be in charge of all of Malaya (now Malaysia). Although Penang was also a Straits Settlement state, it was more strongly impacted by the British than Malacca. You have made an incredibly engaging video about Malacca that may entice others to visit the state. I appreciate all of your hard work in producing the video. Good job, 👍👍👍
And also before the time of the colonization from the west, melacca had a good relation ship with the dynasti ming of china, the admiral Cheng ho protected the melacca empire from being invaded by Siam (Thailand) , and majapahit (Indonesia), during the early of 15 century, so that the melacca became the international trading hub on that time, and the Baba and Nyonya was refers to the intermarriage between the merchants from the Ming Dynasty and the local. The Malacca Dynasty only lasted 108 years from 1403 to 1511

Sorry to say this, but melaka is a state.
@@eijazqaiser5553No worries. Melaka is the only state in Malaysia that uses the name Melaka itself as its capital, Bandar Melaka. 😀

On tinder or other things ?
I walked up to her on the beach and told her she had nice elbows!
She laughed, and the rest is history.

Greeks watching this laughing lol. On a serious note how do you compare prices of accommodation and food to PH?
Prices are about the same but better quality.
Better find a permanent job, think of long term ....
