    Very pretty pattern, glad you showed one with variations in color as that’s what I’m looking to do, as far as remembering that one stitch, I’d just use a stitch marker, moving it up one row at a time as I pass it…

    I've been a subscriber and follower of Meladora's Creations for years now and love your patterns and content!
    I ordered the beautiful yarn used in this pattern some time ago but life kind of got in the way of my crocheting plans for a little while (surgery, etc.).
    I'm now at a place to begin crocheting again and am so excited to make this truly gorgeous bottle holder!
    Thank you so much, Candy, for your lovely patterns and patient tutorials that help us to achieve the beautiful results you intended when you designed them.
    I'm on my way to create this beautiful pattern... finally!! 🙂🤗

      I don't know how I missed your comment, but I'm glad I'm seeing it now. Thanks so much for being here Char and commenting. What luck you had the same yarn and now are using it to get back to crocheting again. I see you commented a few months ago by now. How did your bottle holder come along?

    Just finished mine..quick and easy!
    It did end up bigger than what I expected..more like a small bag but I'm really happy because I can fit my water bottle, a purse and my phone in it.
    I'm going to try making another smaller one now.
    Thank you very much for the great tutorial...much appreciated ☺️

      You are so welcome! I understand your pain. I too had the same problem with reading patterns, I still don't write my patterns the "regular" way. I break it down like I would want someone to break it down for me! So I hope you will give my patterns a try. So glad that the video tutorial helped you make this though. Wow on your 3rd one already! You are inspiring me to make one, I've been putting it off, but now I'm moving it to the top of my to do list! Best wishes to you, stay safe out there Julie!

    • @Meladora1
      @Meladora1  5 лет назад +2

      Double your yarn from what size? As long as the total sum of the two yarn = the same ply this pattern calls for it's good :)

      @kellydukepoo2450 5 лет назад +2

    is it strong enough for a very large metal water bottle. Like a hydroflask?

    • @Meladora1
      @Meladora1  3 года назад

      All bottles will stretch it. If the bottle you use will be heavier then make your holder a bit shorter. It will be strong enough

    um. I started having a problem. At the end of round 3 I am ending with a FPDC.That's not right. I pull everything out,start again and get the same result. I start from the begining,counting stitches and still, the same thing happens.

    • @Meladora1
      @Meladora1  2 года назад

      The very last stitch is supposed to be a FPDC but you achieve it by put a slip stitch in the beginning FPDC to end your round.

    • @Meladora1

    • @Meladora1
      @Meladora1  2 года назад

      @@aussiegrace Tips that I can give is, make everything smaller than you need. Because over time it will stretch. This includes the handle. Seems like you have a smaller bottle, so you could try to make one less increase row and see if that's better for you, but it may make it to small around the base. Worth a try though. Good luck!
