I’m a beginner with crocheting and didn’t understand many of the terms and it moved pretty fast but for experienced people i think it would be wonderful. good work
Very pretty pattern, glad you showed one with variations in color as that’s what I’m looking to do, as far as remembering that one stitch, I’d just use a stitch marker, moving it up one row at a time as I pass it…
I've been a subscriber and follower of Meladora's Creations for years now and love your patterns and content! I ordered the beautiful yarn used in this pattern some time ago but life kind of got in the way of my crocheting plans for a little while (surgery, etc.). I'm now at a place to begin crocheting again and am so excited to make this truly gorgeous bottle holder! Thank you so much, Candy, for your lovely patterns and patient tutorials that help us to achieve the beautiful results you intended when you designed them. I'm on my way to create this beautiful pattern... finally!! 🙂🤗 Hi from Phoenix, Arizona! 🏜️🌄🌵
I don't know how I missed your comment, but I'm glad I'm seeing it now. Thanks so much for being here Char and commenting. What luck you had the same yarn and now are using it to get back to crocheting again. I see you commented a few months ago by now. How did your bottle holder come along?
Just finished mine..quick and easy! It did end up bigger than what I expected..more like a small bag but I'm really happy because I can fit my water bottle, a purse and my phone in it. I'm going to try making another smaller one now. Thank you very much for the great tutorial...much appreciated ☺️
I made something similar to this, just a different size to carry my cellphone at home & don’t have pockets to put it in. I use a walker in certain rooms & hold onto walls in other rooms. This is very handy.
I just wanted to thank you so much for posting this. I am new at this and I have now done 2 , working on my third. I can make something beautiful. I look for beginner projects. I need the video, the pattern alone can't teach me how to make it
You are so welcome! I understand your pain. I too had the same problem with reading patterns, I still don't write my patterns the "regular" way. I break it down like I would want someone to break it down for me! So I hope you will give my patterns a try. So glad that the video tutorial helped you make this though. Wow on your 3rd one already! You are inspiring me to make one, I've been putting it off, but now I'm moving it to the top of my to do list! Best wishes to you, stay safe out there Julie!
Thank you so much for this very clear and nice tutorial. Just to let you know the little stitch at the end of round 2 is the slip stitch from round 1. Thanks so much.
I loved this tutorial, thank you much for sharing. You are a great teacher. I have all ready made the project and it turned out great. I have subscribed to your channel. Thank you and have a super day 😊
I love ur long hooks! And of course the project. Could I double the yarn instead of using the yarn u prefer? I have so much yarn, I really don't wanna buy more yet. Oh wait! What am I saying!!! U can never have too much yarn!!! But yea, can I double my yarn?
Hi, i like your clear voice & video tutorial, however how do i extent the base size of the pattern? I wanted to crochet this pattern but my thermos is bigger so how many counts or how should i extent it? Like what do i increase & how many increase & where do i increase it from?
um. I started having a problem. At the end of round 3 I am ending with a FPDC.That's not right. I pull everything out, start again and get the same result. I start from the begining, counting stitches and still, the same thing happens.
@@aussiegrace Tips that I can give is, make everything smaller than you need. Because over time it will stretch. This includes the handle. Seems like you have a smaller bottle, so you could try to make one less increase row and see if that's better for you, but it may make it to small around the base. Worth a try though. Good luck!
@@Meladora1 Hi, I'm not sure what I did, but I realized I could flip it. anyway, I made one for my son but with 100% cotton so it wouldn't stretch so much. he absolutely loves it! I may make more for presents. thank you!
@@Meladora1 hihihi, you speak is little to fast for me, so i cant totally understand what are you speaking, so i make it little slowed. cause im not good at english tho, btw! im trying to make like your to, its not finish yet.

You know this would be a really pretty bag saver.
Love it. I used G hook and a #4 weight cotton yarn. 17 rounds. Wish I could add a picture.

Currently making this! This will be great when I start school again and have to carry around my hydroflask. Thank you for the tutorial!
Beautiful. Great to hold bottled water when on the beach or walking. Thanks for sharing

ls a nice stitches thank you make one granddaughter

Oh wait! What am I saying!!! U can never have too much yarn!!! But yea, can I double my yarn?
Double your yarn from what size? As long as the total sum of the two yarn = the same ply this pattern calls for it's good :)
@@Meladora1 I didn't think of that part. So, I can't double with the yarn I have. Well, I guess I'll have to buy more yarn. Darn! 😉
Hi, i like your clear voice & video tutorial, however how do i extent the base size of the pattern? I wanted to crochet this pattern but my thermos is bigger so how many counts or how should i extent it? Like what do i increase & how many increase & where do i increase it from?
You could use a bigger size ply yarn or go up a half a hook size
Preciosa!!!
is it strong enough for a very large metal water bottle. Like a hydroflask?
All bottles will stretch it. If the bottle you use will be heavier then make your holder a bit shorter. It will be strong enough
How many stitches would I need to start to use this pattern for a baby blanket?
i only have an 8 mm hook, can it still work?
It would be to big 😀
um. I started having a problem. At the end of round 3 I am ending with a FPDC.That's not right. I pull everything out, start again and get the same result. I start from the begining, counting stitches and still, the same thing happens.
The very last stitch is supposed to be a FPDC but you achieve it by put a slip stitch in the beginning FPDC to end your round.
@@Meladora1 thank you :)
May I ask what sized bottle this will hold please? How many ml?
It stretches so you can put bigger or smaller. Mine fits 1.5 liters or 1500mls
@@Meladora1 thank you for your reply. I’m wanting to make ones for 600ml bottles. Any help would be much appreciated.

5 saw 3saw yes or no
4 round 3 flower
i don't know what happened but when i got to the straps, my holder looks like hers but inside out...
You must have had your project on the back stitch before starting your strap? Not sure what happened there.

Hello sis how many line hole
Have you tried using the pattern along with the tutorial?
Good video but way too fast for me. I’m just a beginner and it was like.... whoa! LOL!!
Sorry about that. It's a really simple repeat, I hope using the pattern along with the video will help, I've been told it does :D
cant u just crochet it very long from one side and join it to the other end instead of doing two sides and join the middle
spped 0.75 :/
Huh?

I got to round three but then you lost me. What on earth are you on about??? WHAT DOES ANY OF THIS MEAN???????????!!!!!!!!!!!!
Try to follow along with the pattern, it may sort you out. The PDF pattern on my shop has pictures if that would be of help to you. Best of luck!
