R42 Special Events Train passing Kings Highway on the (B) (Q) Lines

Recently in early 2024, an 8 car set of R42s that was set aside for refuse service had been cleaned up and turned into a special events train to be used for NYPD training, movie shoots or other special events that happen throughout the subway system. Seen here is this 8 car R42 train passing through Kings Highway on the Brighton Line heading back towards Coney Island yard after doing NYPD Training along the J and L lines. Taken on March 4, 2024
