The expensive ground beef tastes the same as it did when it was cheap. Two hamburgers still taste good wih fried potatoes and Cole Slaw and dessert and some root beer. The conversation is mainly about songwriters and actors who predicted their own death in their songs and scenes. Also some suggested dog songs that you might enjoy. The ground beef does make a nice lunch.
Burgers and a cold glass of root beer. It doesn't get better than this 😊

I always check the cost of ground beef at the supermarket. Periodically they will still have the 80/20 for $3.99 LB.
I like the bargains.
I love fried potatos,often add cabbage,onions hot peppers, sometimes use ketchup on side sometimes not. It's filling,tasty,and cheap

There are some good horse songs, like, Ghost Riders in the Sky and Pack of Wild Horses and even the song Ya Got Trouble from The Music Man mentions Dan Patch. The song The Blizzard is about a horse.and it is a sad song.

The hammond Miner Dunn closed, but the one in Highland on Indianapolis Blvd. (US 41) is still there. Their hamburgers are still the best. They still have their signature sherbert. And their shakes are AWESOME. They've been in business since 1932. I notice you don't make your own salad anymore?
Sometimes I have Cole slaw for a week or two but I will keep making the cabbage salad when I have more time avaikable for a week or two. Miner Dunn was great back in the forties. Thanks.
