You would be hard pressed to find a black individual actually working at a McDonald's. At least in my community. Most workers employed by McDonald's are of hispanic origin, from management to basic employee.
I work at a blue big box hardware store who dropped the email announcement months ago that they were "restructuring" their DEI program. Somehow they've stayed completely under the radar. I am the only person in my store who mentions it or read it seemingly. Our workers don't stand up for anything and are happy as long as you allow them to scroll their phones while working.

Until a recent lawsuit was filed in Alabama, there were some McDonald's and other fast food restaurants that were using prison labor. They would pay the minimum wage and the prison system took half of that. This kept inmates from being paroled or released early. The company is testing out computer and robot run stores. Everyone should boycott McDonald's.
