knowing someone can still struggle to draw a horse without a reference even tho they have drawn many horses, makes that bobs burgers episode even funnier
I rarely, if ever, leave a comment on videos on account of being really shy. But I just have to say, that your videos have brightened my days lately. I’ve been having some real shitty days and after discovering your channel and watching your videos, it has made me relax from every day stress. Keep doing what you’re doing, it’s much appreciated.
Speaking about your experience with trying something new and realizing that you're not as bad as you think is really comforting because I think that way A LOT 💖
I could literally listen to you talk about the life cycle of worms while drawing circles and I’d still be sitting here completely enthralled. You are so comforting 🫶🏼
I like the pets moving/sitting around in the background while you draw, it's kinda like how Papa Meat has W.I.P animations in the background while he draws. Horses are complicated, silly creatures. It's hard to not get insecure about how well you're doing especially when you're at a training camp with other people. It's positive to have that mentality change to appreciate your own progress with your animals.
A couple of years ago I lost my only sketchbook (well a professor threw it away because she didn’t like me) and as im sure you know since you talk about expressing your feelings through your drawings, that sketchbook was my LIFE. It had all of my favorite paintings and little doodles, so when i lost it, it put me into a huge spiral and loss of creative motivation. I’ve slowly been getting that back and watching your videos and seeing you draw in your sketchbooks has really given me some inspiration to start painting again. Setting up the old easel and paint palette today!
You're a WAY stronger person than I am. I'm terrified of failure and it holds me back from a lot of things. You're learning w/ your horses in front of an audience and I can't even get myself to attempt making crepes again ffs! XD
I'm a city girl through-and-through so this whole world of horse clinics is foreign to me, but I absolutely loved how you discussed your feelings throughout the experience and the growth you had by putting yourself outside of your comfort zone. It made this whole story super relatable even to me!! Also very pretty drawing💕
I personally do not care about horses specifically but I do enjoy your stories and drawings. It's so soothing and invigorating; it's very nice to hear how working with animals and just caring about others can help you as a person.
Sounds like a wonderful experience overall. As someone who grew up with their grandparents (boomers) as caregivers, I totally agree with you on that older people have cool stuff to say. They’re almost all great people. Thank you for sharing!!
I’ve had similar experiences with older people they can be pretty chill. It was also nice to listen to you talk about the horse clinic I’ve always wondered what horses do and how they get enrichment etc.
1:37 I can’t relate to any sort of experience caring for horses, but man I do this shit ALL the time. It’s something I’m still trying to working on. It’s annoying. It’s cool to hear you talk about it and overcoming it yourself.
I absolutely love your videos, pls keep making silly drawings and telling random stories from ur life, it rly makes my day! Also love the cross over stories that seep into hunters videos
it is always nice to unexpectedly get reassurance from strangers, especially when it’s something you love a lot. its great that it motivated you to keep going! also these horse sketches are stunning
I think it definitely has to be rewarding learning the individual personalities of your animals and what works for them and what doesn’t! I loved that the most when I was a dog sitter/walker, just figuring out each dog and figuring out what approach works best.
i really connected with this video (and i’m not a horse person??) i have a day job and work in coffee on the weekends for the love of it. it challenges me to meet with people in public outside of my usual circle and connect over what i love. i look up to the owner, he has a wealth of knowledge to share and his family is warm and supportive. it’s fun and challenging and i learn a little more all the time. i really needed this video & i appreciate the outlook you share. cheers 🌼
I have always found it way easier to talk to and make friends with people older than me just in general, so you are not alone there. I think part of it is that I went to community college while in highschool so I got used to being around and helping people 2-4x my age like it was normal, but also older people aren't put off by my face. I have bad RBF and I look angry all the time despite almost never getting mad which tends to put people my age off from talking to me if I don't talk to them first. Older people don't seem to care about it at all though. I am getting better at starting conversations with people though! which has included people my age or who look my age (I never ask their age)
Love this channel. Such interesting discussions. I get the age range thing. Im in my 40s, and I do woodworking. The majority of them at these workshops are retired. The good thing is they have more experience than me.
i love these kind of videos, they are very cosy with great stories and great art. It's been a blessing coming across this channel, keep up the great work!
That's cool that you got to see a gaited horse, those are so interesting!! Same with the Lipazzaner, very boujie lol! I live in AZ so there are lots of horse people and wild horses(and burros!) near me. Here mainly it's mustangs, quarter horses, and Arabians. I recently went back to school and can't afford lessons anymore, but I'm motivated to work hard so that I can own horses of my own one day, or at least work with a trainer or lease one. Thanks for sharing :D
I wonder if we'll run into you! My daughter does horses and I've learned a ton bc of her. We don't do lessons anymore, just clinics and auctions and events, one-off things. We're in the Midwest as well. I love this channel!! 🤎
So glad to be one who can relate to this video ^_^ From age 8ish to 16 I worked with horses, competed in CMSA, and attended a good number of clinics.. I’ve been away from the sport for a few years now. Now I just draw :P Your take on failing in front of an expert struck me- that feeling is unique. I was lucky enough to have wonderful instructors who were so patient and informative. They taught me a lot about accepting and working through failures. Those skills have translated into many different aspects of my life despite my being away from horses. Anyways great video :3 so nostalgic to think back to the clinics I used to go to
I’m starting to take sewing classes and I can relate to it being people of various ages. At my first class, I wasn’t the youngest person to be there. I also knit and often meet a lot of older people at yarn shops.
Glad that you felt ok doing your own work with Dove while others were doing something else. It can feel awkward doing something separate from a group so its nice to hear you got a lot out of it. Ps: your tshirts is really cool! Could you link where you got it please?
I really enjoyed watching this video; to be able to not care what others think is so freeing. You can do so much more without that unnecessary pressure!
Hope your foot is doing better 😅 Horses are so majestic but also have immense power. People should always treat them with respect and never ever walk directly behind them 🤕
I Really dig your thumbnails. Do you do your own editing or does Nick do it? It reminds me of his style just more chill and less unhinged given the content.
creepcast, papameat, meatcanyon and a beerpub upload???? goated
Power couple

@@beeerpup Thank you! 😊🌸

Love how Rocky would crawl over your workspace periodically lol
I love how you talk about topics that are pretty niche for your average person. You talking about horse clinics is fascinating
I would totally buy a coloring book if you decided to make one.......
Same here.
Me too!
I could literally listen to you talk about the life cycle of worms while drawing circles and I’d still be sitting here completely enthralled. You are so comforting 🫶🏼
Learning the world doesn’t end when you fail is a hard but relieving lesson to learn! Still learning it!
I like the pets moving/sitting around in the background while you draw, it's kinda like how Papa Meat has W.I.P animations in the background while he draws.

The love for your animals shines through these little videos. Very cathartic to watch. Thank you for sharing :)
Horses are so challenging to draw but every one you did looks so good. Really love these chat/doodle videos

This evening couldn't be better: i baked pumpkin cake, enjoying it with tea and with your video totally blissful time
I’ve really enjoyed these videos recently! Can’t wait to see more content from you in the future 😍

Rocky walking across the page was the best cameo in a RUclips video
As a horse girl and a huge horse artist I’m obsessed with this video
You’re talented in so many areas
I personally do not care about horses specifically but I do enjoy your stories and drawings. It's so soothing and invigorating; it's very nice to hear how working with animals and just caring about others can help you as a person.

Horse clinics are so much fun 😊 loved this video and your horse painting!
So happy you’re getting more comfortable with being on camera. I love your style and demeanor 💗
I love your talk and doodle videos! I never knew horses were so much work!
it is always nice to unexpectedly get reassurance from strangers, especially when it’s something you love a lot. its great that it motivated you to keep going!
also these horse sketches are stunning
Rocky looks like he's settling in really well
Cheers to confronting your anxiety to have a great experience in the end
Horses are very magical and beautiful, there isn't a lot of them where I live but I hope in the future I'll be able to have one

I love when people share their experiences trying things! Makes me feel like we’re all so similar. (Also your horse drawings look super nice!)

Damn your art is incredible, especially without any reference photos in front of you
This is so cool. I’ve only trained dogs, so horse training seems like so much more intensive work!
I usually watch Papa Meats channel to relax or decompress and now your channel does the same :) thank you
Your videos always make me so peaceful and happy thank you for sharing!
i say this in the nicest way possible, but rocky looks just like his owners
It is fun to learn more of the animals and their personalities and problems that most people wouldn’t talk about.
I can't help but think Steve Brule saying "For your horse!"
