Hello and thank you for your question. The talk time really depends on the battery that you have. Most batteries are rated between 2000 to 2800 milliamp. A good battery should get you between 6 to 8 or nine hours on transmit and about 10 to 12 on receive only I will be sure to cover this in my next video which will be up within the next few hours.
@@ourthinlines1404 awesome I’m a fan of Motorola radios by the way they don’t make that radio anymore but I’ve been watching all your videos and I love the reviews of the XTS portable radios
@@warrengillies-ym1td sadly your correct :/ Motorola does not produce the XTS series anymore. However, a lot of the aftermarket parts can still keep your radio going and looking factory fresh, because the APX is severely restricted to public safety and almost impossible to get a hold of third-party, I always encourage my viewers to go with what I believe to be the best radios available, I’ve been a Motorola whacker since I was a cadet and started out with an HT 1000 and a minitor two pager lol
@@ourthinlines1404 that is cool I have used walkie-talkies over the past years. My last two walkie-talkies they had was a Motorola talk about radios and they were all right but now I’m interested in practising using the Apex range of radios like the Apex 9000 and they just put it out newer radios, like like nx range of portable radios that have that touchscreen and I am also interested in trying out there Xpr radios as well. By the way, are you in? A police force if you guys have a marine patrol, there’s a special headset out there that the company should look into to help them lift their patrol.

Why would you want to cover the serial number?
