Always good to remind people to wear their safety equipment, something most people forget to say.

Yep! And any of us who've been working with tools have had lessons in wearing safety gear. I once had a hot glob of glue nearly hit me in the eye. Not fun.

I ended up getting a Norse hawk in the wake of watching one of your videos customizing one of those... now I think I want a VHA... I'm starting to sense a pattern here. 😆

Nice!!! Lol yes the Cold Steel tomahawks are fun to customize. Crkt makes some good tomahawks too but Cold Steel ones are super affordable. I own quite a few of the Cold Steel tomahawks.

This is great. I wondered what the VHA would look like on a shorter handle. Could you explain more about using the shoe goo/ glue on the cord wrap? Doesn’t look like there was much of a mess

Thanks!!! Yes, it's much better with a short handle. More controllable.
The shoe goo works really well. Just apply it evenly, spread it well and it's great because it dries slow so you're not in a crazy rush to tie the end knots. Very strong stuff.
