Quad Copter with Speedy Bee F405-Wing running Arducopter

  • My 1st Quad , scratch built with Speedy Bee F405 Wing FC running Arducopter .
    Im not into Quads but I built this to recover a FPV long-range plane I lost in the national park.
    Stay tuned for the upcoming videos of the recovery!!!!

    Hi, how does it autoland in RTH mode using the Wing FC?

      @tropicairrl6121 ardupilot can be configured to auto land once RTL is completed, during which you still can control pitch, yaw and roll.

      The wing FC is pretty much the same as multirotor FC but with extra servo outputs and larger formfactor .

      I have a few SB F405 Wing FCs installed in motor gliders but also have a few larger quads with basic GPS FCs from 2016, two of them scratch build. What I like from the Wing FC is that ESCs and everything else can be plugged in, like on my existing quads.

      I am using Inav which does basically the same.
