- Hey Everyone,
In this video, we will show you how to install a turbo to intercooler chargepipe on your F30 BMW 320 or 328i. If you have a 335i, it's the same process, but the 335i is a little more cramped.
As the name sounds, the Turbo to Intercooler chargepipe connects your Turbo to your Intercooler. BMW uses a rubber hose from the factory, that over time can start to deteriorate, so upgrading to a metal Evolution Racewerks one is a great add, especially, if you're thinking of turning up the boost 😎

For the c clamps all you need to do is actually let the clamp set in place on the pipe then when you push the pipe on to the intercooler it will slide up and click in on it’s own it’s also the same for the turbo side.

You always make the couplers look easy. I found it strange the way the pipe was situated. It was extremely hard to get the coupler over the bottom pipe.

Kies Motorsports I’m pretty sure I just blew up my charge pipe and I’m really stressing about it. It started leaking oil after I heard the loud pop, is that normal at all? I was barely able to limp it home dripping oil everywhere 😫

Do you need to tune after installing this? Or an air intake?
What if you lose the clip of the original chargepipe that goes to the throttle body. I have N26. I changed both boost pipe and charge pipe and lost the clip that goes to the intercooler. Now I’m having boost leaks. I’m trying to purchase that clip online and I can’t find it anywhere. I can find N54/55s but none for F30 n20/26. Any ideas on what to do? Thanks

I'm seeing false code in my BMW 328i 2014. "P11C5". I thought problem might with SPARK PLUGS and replaced with new one.
But it still having the same trouble . When I raise my RMP it sounds like Air Pressure Bubble from silencer.
Can you help me out that How can I fix my car. My car has only 60,000miles.

why im seeing only stock installs and no custom fab
When I installed the pipes to check for alignment, they are off by a good two inches. There's no way I can drop the intercooler that much to get them lined up. Anyone have any ideas or tips??

Installed this with the CSF intercooler and I don’t think it’s compatible the part that connects to the IC came up higher than the part that connects to the turbo. Took me 5 hours but I managed to finesse it, if I see that I lose boost pressure I’m just going to go back to the stock one. So weird did I just get a dud ER boost pipe?
That's strange. Did you test fit off the car before installing?
Kies Motorsports no I did not I assumed it was a perfect fit but when I set the intercooler where it needs to go on the mounting bracket on the radiator, the part of the pipe that connects to the intercooler came up higher than the pipe that comes out of the turbo

Is this also called an turbo inlet pipe?
No, the Turbo inlet pipe is what connects the intake to the turbo. This connects the turbo to the intercooler 👍🏼
Will this work with a vrsf intercooler?
Yes, it will!

I can't guarantee this will help without knowing what your car is doing but a charge pipe is always an important upgrade to prevent the very common cracking or breaking of the plastic charge pipes in these BMW's! Pls forgive me for asking, but why would you want to do this?
Ok, durability as explained at the end of the video. 🙄
Also, if you're going to tune the car and drive it harder often - ie: BM3, the extra boost may cause undue strain on the pipe, which could lead to premature pipe failure. Then again, you will want to upgrade the intercooler and other charge pipe at the same time to keep the car's engine as cool as possible.
this is what you wanna do if you plan on upgrading your turbo or boost. The stock one is rubber and can easily deteriorate if you crank up the boost. So switching the metal is WAY better.

Will this fit on a 335i n55? I have a vrsf n20 intercooler and the connections to the intercoolers are different i dont know what i can do.
