They actually release the rift pass skins in the in-game store after some time, so a majority of the older pass cosmetics are available to purchase in the store
The thing I like about the “battlepass” in DBD is that you only need to spend $10 once since you get you complete it, you get that currency back each time. I have gotten like a hundred cosmetics from just those 10 bucks in the last several years.
You know that early tome you guys said looks like the start of someone's villain arc with the burning village? That's the Wraith's backstory, so you were right on track.
A really cool thing is a couple outfits n the rifts (Mr Puddles, Legions never stop slashing etc, basically ewverything labelled under the 'community' collection) Is made by the community in their annual cosmetic contests, they're all available for free and can be purchased for free in the store most of them can. We're getting 3 survivor cosmetics and 3 killer cosmetics soon for this community contest after the recent cosmetic contest (oh and a bonus Haddie cosmetic which was meant to be chosen for the finalists but got missed cause of a communication error, so drama happened and it;'s being collaborated with the artist for free which is SO cool to see.)
The Tome cutscenes make no sense unless you read the stories that are tied to them. Especially since most of them take place at the END of the Tome stories.
It seems that TOME 13 is not in this playlist, although it is not surprising, because its trailer is included in the trailer for the Haunted By Daylight event, which is a pity, because this TOME is dedicated to Ghost Face and there are many masks, including the WASSUP mask
eventually some of the rewards in the rift appear in the store after it close but they cost the premium currency so it's cheaper to try and earn them while the rift is still open
I know people have mentioned, but the skins in battle passes do get released into the shop, the only ones that arent released are the deep rift recolors. Its usually several months or a year, but you can get what you like. Also DBD has one of the best bang for your buck battlepasses. You get your $10 dollars back after completing the pass and can keep on using it. And even with the new tiers, its still very easy to grind. Also the lore, memories, and cinematics are really cool rewards! It took 3 years to get a battle pass, but it launched pretty strong and has only gotten better!
U should react to collaboration skins they have for example iron maiden resident evil ( there are more than the ones showed on the trailer) attack on titan and soon junji ito
Im loving your DBD reactions! If you're looking for more content, there are still the rift cutscenes (short lore cinematics which are rewards for challenges), terror radius/lobby music, and there are plenty of channels that go in depth on lore of characters!
The lore is pretty interesting the more you get into it, definitely should watch some lore videos. Also the skins and things you miss in the battlepass later come to the store so don't worry about missing things the only thing that dosent come to the store is something called deep rift cosmetics but those are like exclusive skins you get for completing the rift when its open so its a way of saying hey i bought and completed this rift when you wear the skin and the those skins usually arent to special anyway.

The first video you watched is old now. They've changed how they do things. Only deep rift (recolours of skins in the pass) in the premium track stay exclusive. Everything else will end up in the in game store eventually. So they're not gone for good anymore
As a battlepass hater, i need to admit that DBD did it right. I bought my Rift for $10 back in 2021, and im still buying rifts with this money, its really worth it if you play DBD a lot. Great video!
Damn, i wasn't realizing that the rift trailers were downgraded so bad. The recent ones don't have any lore and very little cutscenes, just raw gameplay and skins showcase. And also the playlist is missing trailers for Tomes 13 and 16, featuring the ghostface and the singularity, but whatever, the video is uploaded already.
to be fair dbd’s battle pass you only need to pay for it once and as long as you keep finishing it then you won’t pay for it ever Also, One time I quit the game for like a month and I still was able to finish it so it’s not that hard to complete

I recommend watching the Tome Cutscenes. These are different from the Tome trailers.
