This is the reason why I don't like shows like produce 101, mixnine, the unit or any survival show like this for that matter, seeing the judges saying they don't "belong there" that they don't "think they can make it" just shows how shallow the industry can be. They put loads of importance in dancing and looks that when they have a WHOLEASS BAND with people that actually know how to play live, know about music and composition they completely look pass that and say that because they "can't dance they are the weakest team" honestly, MAS were the most talented contestants on the season. I don't understand why didn't they join the show 'Superband,' that show was amazing with all it's letters and it showcased MUSICALITY and TALENT at it's fullest. That's definitely somehere MAS (onewe) belonged.

The thing is: just like every other group MAS/ONEWE went there to promote themselves and the judges saw something in them so they did give them a chance eventually. The members came such a long way with the help of the coaches and the other idols (like Daewon who taught them how to dance) and I think that's what made the show special.
And that's how RBW saw them, I guess they fit right into the family that genuinely just wants to create MUSIC, focusing more on their abilities. And i'm really happy for them i feel like crying.

I really thank daewon for being so kind to them, even though he himself didnt get the highest score but he tried to teach them the best he could, and he actually approached them first, offering to be in the same team with him. DAEWON-AH!! I HOPE YOU'RE WELL SOMEWHERE. REALLY WISH YOU'D BE SUCCESSFUL IN WHATEVER YOU DO.
I honestly have so much respect for them. They admitted that they weren't that good at dancing and earnestly asked for help and I think that's something we can all learn from!!!! 💕👍

I feel guilty not knowing their existence as M.A.S 0094 before but i promise myself that i'm gonna love them as ONEWE now and i am proud that they got their first achievement for being TOP 10 for the Japanese single 😭 May they keep shining ahead ❤
I always cry every time I saw their The Unit appearance especially when no one wants them for the 1st mission. I have been rooting for them since Day 1 and when Dongmyeong was the only one got through the finals, i am proud. AND NOW, they still promoting together, now as ONEWE. I am so happy for their growth. Will forever support these boys.
I remember seeing them on the unit clips back when the show was running, and last year I found out about the cuz I was weekly idol ep of Ateez and oneus and when I looked into oneus I found about onewe but never got into them and just saw the mamamoo hip cover vid and had to see more content never thought They would be the hard working boys from Mas that warmed my heart once upon a time while watching the unit 😭😭😭 I haven’t listened to any song of them yet but boy they have a piece of my heart

People always say that one of the most famous Korean boy band struggled a lot, but they have forgotten that everyone goes through that phase, I feel mas aka onewe have faced truly bad situations because earlier they don't even have a entertainment company , they did everything solely.... At least they don't gain sympathy by letting people know about their tragic past experiences of own family ...
I'm so glad they were able to redebut as onewe there are gaining so many fans and finally getting the recognition they deserve. So proud of them hard work and dedication paying off finally.

I still don't have the courage to watch The Unit. Their I Shall Debut series made me mad at some point, the way how cruel the punishment when they always lose. I know hardships are always part of their journey and I'm proud how strong they are despite how some people look down on them just because they're a band. I will always be there for them tho I'm still new but the way I feel for them is for lifetime ❤️
I dont think I can watch the unit either, and i recently watch some of I shall debut and ..i want to believe that they had fun at least. I felt bad for them but it really showed how such good people they are despite most of the attention being on Oneus. It's obvious from the start that the way the company set up Oneus and Onewe, Oneus was made to bring in the attention (and money) and Onewe would be more lowkey. But you know, in the end maybe it's okay because Onewe are able to make their own music and be happy with dedicated fans so their hard work has paid off.

Thats why its not always good to limit someone's ability just by judging on what they are currently good at. Everyone can learn and progress given that right amount of time, coaching, dedication and passion. Props also to the others who helped them along the way🙏I know the nature of survival shows or competitions. Its normal to be competitive, secure a good seat and be opportunistic. However, i cant help but to feel sad for them cuz of the criticism they got cuz they were a BAND😢 I cant imagine how hurtful and hard it was for them being on the show, with those kind of perceptions and judgments from others. Cant help but be sad for them, esp that they were too young back then and i feel like they should be protected from the harsh reality😔 Everyone were judging them saying that they are just like this and that and thats it. Like, they dont belong cuz they cant dance nor perform cuz they are just a band. They were boxed already on the idea that they are just for instruments and singing and not for mainstream audience that focus on visuals, dancing, performing, etc. Well, they have admitted it too that they have a long way to go before they could master the skills in dancing or performing in large scale and i commend them for being humble and honest because that just means that they were very willing to learn. I just think that theres a chance for everyone and everything as long as they are willing. Since they already have the talent, might as well give the chance to them. Anyway, everything has happened and this was just part of their journey and one of their training and learning grounds to be more capable in the future- talent, attitude and career wise. Now, after what they have gone through, Im happy that MAS was able to redebut into ONEWE. These people have come a long way, and can still go further. I felt bad when nobody was choosing them. But I became interested in the band partly because of The Unit. So, the Unit is not bad. The show just reflects what the kpop industry is like. Kbands are underrated because the kpop industry doesn't give importance to rock sound that much. Dreamcatcher, The Rose, Onewe, Lucy etc. don't have any music show wins that's why. It's sad but true.
I've just realized that MAS is the reason why Im crying in the first episode of the unit I feel bad for them😭 When Yonghoon said that they're not belong to the unit I literally cry at that time along with my cousin. MAS & Lee Hangyul, they are the reason why I watched the unit before🥰
