You’re wrong - this video isn’t insignificant. Music is a powerful way to get thru tragedy. Sad music reminds us we aren’t alone. Kick ass music like this brings a few moments of joy. And you help bring this to people who may not be aware of Courtney. And Courtney can bring a bit of joy and beauty to everyone.
Good Idea. I thought about putting a link for the next one on AGT of "Papa's got a brand new bag" ruclips.net/video/c7tU1c8vpV8/видео.html , but didn't because I wasn't sure how many Courtney reactions he would get to. Hopefully he does many.
Hi! Welcome to the wonderful world of Courtney. You have just come across the best thing to happen to music in decades. Courtney is beyond amazing. This video launched her to worldwide fame and the only reason that she is not already a mega-star is because her new music and much more of her career has been on hold for the last two years due to the Covid situation. As absolutely incredible as this performance is, you have only scratched the surface of what Courtney is truly capable of with her music. Not only is she the the best rocker around, but she is equally as great across so many genres including R&B, Soul, Funk and Ballads as well as Rock. She moves so seamlessly between genres, sometimes in the same song, without the least bit of loss of the fabulous quality of her music. I have not heard another artist any where close to Courtney's level of vocal talent and vocal versatility in a very long time, if ever, but there's so much more. You got a small taste here of how she dominates the stage as a performer. Wait until you see what Courtney can do when she has a full stage to work with. Beyond that, she is a dynamite guitarist, a powerhouse as a song writer and her creativity is mind boggling. I think you can get some idea how excited myself and the rest of us are about Courtney's music. She is re-introducing the world to a style of music that is based on passion, intensity and emotion that has long since been forgotten and what a beautiful site it is to behold. It won't be long before the world recognizes Courtney as the musical icon that she is.I've put a few links below as suggestions for your next Courtney reaction, but they have also been placed on your reaction request page. First is her next performance on AGT. It too, is a 60's classic from James Brown that gives you an idea of how Courtney can dominate a full stage. The second is a popular record setting Country Hip Hop song that Courtney turns into a Rock anthem to show you her creativity and finally is a ballad that will highlight what a truly beautiful voice Courtney has. One suggestion. Whenever listening to a Courtney cover, always be familiar with the original first. Courtney's creativity is off the charts and any cover she does will never sound anything like the original. It's going to be a hell of a ride, so enjoy. Wow. Thank you for the thoughtful comment. I will add these songs to the list and hope to get to them soon. I do have a question: when you say "reaction request page" what are you referring to?
@@tnae On the about tab on your RUclips channel, you had a link for song reaction requests, but when I went there after I wrote the comment, it said there was only room for one more song.
Wow, that was a great reaction and really great commentary by you. I hope we see lots more Courtney from you. I've watched a few of your reactions and this one really got me to sub. Courtney is one of those artists who has that alter ego when she hears the music. Every performance is always 110% from her. She's just a beast on stage and her voice is so special and unique, as you'll see after seeing more from her. Not just a rock star like she shows here and all her AGT performances that year. A bit of background on that day for her. She was so nervous the producers pushed her time slot back until she was able to get out there. She had performed in the past at open mic contests and also in the UK on The Voice Kids 1st season which I believe didn't get much attention yet. But the AGT experience she said was way bigger than she ever imagined. After watching some older classics on the internet she did learn quite a bit from old school artists on RUclips from artists such as James Brown, Little Richard and so many more and pick up a few things from them all. At 13, really 12 and even younger she performs with No fear once she hears the music start on stage. Today, she's even better, and just waiting to be released with her original music. And so are her fans. COVID has delayed her time for the past 2 years now. During that time she's become quite the song writer too, based on what she's been allowed to let her fans hear. That long awaited album should be epic. I remember you saying to use a certain way to request reactions on another video I watched by you. I'll have to revisit that video to find out. You mentioned her diction could be better. Well it has improved, but I will say she had a heavy northeastern British accent early on. But it seems to have lightened up and that song for someone so young and the amount of energy she puts into it and all her performances isn't the easiest song to sing. Here's a slower ballad with quite a different Courtney singing without the stage movement on her feet, yet still quite the performance. Harry Styles "Sign of the Times" cover when she was still just 14. ruclips.net/video/x9Phi6Yrg2k/видео.html&ab_channel=CourtneyHadwinVEVO
@@tnae I think we hope you can react to her again soon. One of the better reactions we've seen of this particular video in quite some time. And believe me there have been many great reactions to this. Looking forward to the next one.
Good comment. Her elocution is quite intentional. Go listen to the black crows version of this song. She "models" her style after black crows rather than otis redding (original author/performer). She also takes great liberties with style: listen to the cover sessions.. All better than the originals.
Great reaction. Can't wait to see more from you Reacting to Courtney Hadwin....My opinion is she is the definition of Talent. I love how you express how you recognize her for her talent. She's very special. She's what most of us do in the shower or bedroom holding a brush trying to act like Mick Jagger!! But she makes it work, the girl can Sing!!! Can't wait to see more. papas got a brand new bag from AGT river deep mountain high from AGT
The Courttney Hadwin experience is a deep rabbit hole. There are videos of Courtz from at least age 9 up through today virtually all are amazing. The AGT audition was a good place to start but it can be an awe inspiring road if you want to go there with Courtney. P.S. Wishing peace and long life for everyone.

Loved your reaction and showing your emotions was nice to see, I cry every time I see this AGT off Courtney. I have been following her since this actually and she has grown into a very beautiful, very talented young lady. I would love you to react to her performance on AGT singing with The Strutts my fav on that show, and then her 4 cover sessions which you can see how much she developed from AGT to them 👍🏻👍🏻 I very much look forward to your next reaction, keep them coming 😁😁😁
As to the enunciation Courtney is from north eastern England not far from Scotland so she has that area's accent and way of speaking. As to performance she has said she found videos of James Brown on RUclips when age 11 and everything changed. She particularly noted how he used the whole stage. In this video being 13-14 she was in her gawky teen years so her movements are a mix of imitation, adaption and teen gawkyness. Also she has a couple years of busking experience for Voice lesson money so was motivated to attract attention.
Courtney's main voice coach Julie .miles has recently commented Courtney has a number of ' great originals ' coming along, apparently issues with travel and by inference the pandemic and related complications has delayed any performances and production of her album as of Oct 2022. I hope she can get rolling soon as other performers have already started touring such as Angela Jordan, Kenadi Dobbs and Upsal.
I really enjoyed what you had to say about Courtney as well as your comments with respect to Russia and the Ukraine and surrounding areas for the strife and issues that are going on over there.Seems like we have world issues everywhere and seeing a young lady like Courtney is like receiving a breath of fresh air and I feel so much better and I'm in such a more positive frame of mind after listening to anything that Courtney does. I look forward to your further reactions particularly with respect to Courtney Hadwin as she is one of my absolute favorites in the music industry and mark my words, she will be world renowned. In a year or two's time.!!
Can't wait for more Courtney reactions. Here are more Courtney songs: "Sucker"' "Someone You Loved", "Pretty Little Thing", "What's Love Got To Do With It", "Love Hurts"
Please react to more Courtney videos. She has one of the most amazing voices for someone that young that I have ever heard. Thank you for this reaction.
That's our Courtz! As you dig deeper into her segment of the world, you will watch her grow and improve. She is a rare talent, with a style that hasn't been seen for a while. She really stands out in a world of cookie cutter singers.
The annunciations on her consonants are because she’s from the NE of the U.K. and we’re not so critical , perfection is not an expectation ALL the time. Ppl compare to Grace VDW and Angelina but there is no comparison it’s like comparing carbon and diamonds…. Angelina sticks to mid to high octaves for comfort so not showing versatility, Grace I’ve only heard one song so not willing to have conflict over her abilities but what I saw was mid range and she could probably cover the high too. Courtney can take you on a journey through a song build it up , take it from high to low and back again but you wouldn’t have noticed because it’s either hypnotising or intoxicating . Wait til her album drops , it’s been delayed 2yrs because of Covid, let’s hope one of the songs is “ you can’t put a germ on me!” Lol
I always like to see people react to this video for the first time. It may your first time but I'm sure it won't be your last. Her talent knows no bounds and, once her first album is released - soon I hope - she'll be on her way to being a household name. If you're looking for other performances of hers there's a lot around. I'd suggest Old Town Road, Someone you Loved, Sucker, sign of the Times, or maybe What's Love Got to Do With itm all of which are live performances - and her enunciation if perfect (she's older now). If you do you'll see Courtney comes with a lot of fans who regularly follow her on RUclips as well as other platforms. Your reaction was wonderful and pretty much the same as the reaction others have had the first time they see this video - total surprise and amazement. Keep up the good work and let's have more Courtney please. Peace.
The young lady is PHENOMENAL. Thank you. Please continue to react to Courtney. She has a lot of covers now and is working on an album. Since Covid and she is English she has not been able to travel yet to the US. I really feel that when this happens she will be the next top singer. I ♥ and I hope you will continue to support her. She really deserves our backing. Thanks for all you can do to help support her. She is an ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS young lady in every way. Check her out on u tube. They have many of her songs both covers and original. Once again THANKS.
I can't add much to the detail and suggestions in other comments except to wholeheartedly agree that Courtney is the most exciting and original talent out there, and you would do yourself and everyone good justice to follow and react to her more. That one video has received well over 500 million views, and there are many more. Her career has been somewhat stalled by the pandemic and other world affairs, but her millions of fans all over are hopeful that she will explode with a new album and performances soon after she turns 18 this July 6. I understand your "coaching" remarks about enunciation, notes and "outside the lines" performance style. Those items have been addressed ad infinitum by others, mostly positive except for her 2% hostile critics. Simon Cowell once said she was "messy" but that was the cardinal style of what she does as a "star" who is always "remembered" (Simon was the first to sign her to his music label, although she is now with someone else). Courtney has been measured with a 3 1/2 octave range and has shown she can sing opera; at about 10+/- she sang in a production of Les Miserable. She uses many vocal tools like raspy distortion, dynamics, note bends, etc. that add astounding emotional color and passion--to me the most important elements in music--to a variety of genres, but which get some purists' criticisms of 'screaming' or being 'pitchy' (Elvis got similar criticism but did all right). Those criticisms are off base and reactive to Courtney's exceptionalism, IMO, but you can decide for yourself, of course. Courtney's stage presence is unmatched, and will be a major treat when fully presented. This got too lengthy, but I like your style and your appreciation of Courtney and will subscribe if you continue her reactions!
When you have the time to comment and express your thoughts, you do it well. Even though I sometimes have to guess at what some words you use mean because my vocabulary library is no where near that good, I always know what you're talking about. Especially when you talk the language of music and theory. I wish some of those purist you spoke or understood more about using the blues and jazz techniques you mentioned. It kind of bothers me that they make those opinions about her pitchyness when she uses bends and slurs. Some get it who play or have some music background, especially in the older classics where that style was used much more. Keep those lengthy post coming. You explain things very articulately. Always enjoy them.
@@bertpainter8385 You're too kind, Bert. This reactor just made a few remarks and appeared to have a knowledgeable background lending to a more amenable reception to thoughts you and I have previously alluded to, making my words seem less wasted, at least to me.
My two favorite all time first auditions on AGT are this one and one from the year before (2017) by Darci Lynne. If you get a chance, give that one a try too.
This was surprise for lots of people. I am not a huge fan of TV talent shows. I have seen a lot of bad stuff happen in smaller ones with fewer contestants and members of the audience. People go out, do their best and get utterly crushed. Most of these TV shows are just that writ large. Crushed dreams. Psychological scarring. Crying kids. Then, every so often, you get something special. I knew the moment I saw her set her feet that she was good. I sing non-professionally and I practice swordsmanship. A solid stance, a firm sense of balance is essential for both. I knew it was going to be good. I had NO idea I was going to hear the Black Crowes covered by Janis Joplin! I don't think 'anyone' did. She owned the stage, the crowd AND the judges from the moment she opened her mouth. Yeah. Special.
She is excellent, especially for a 13 year old. In addition her dancing is exceptional also. I was blown away the first time I saw her. She is excellent! Her pronunciation I think is her trying to emulate Janis! Watch the follow up videos for her!
She´s just doing her thing and I believe that her movements also is a way to release a little of the adrenalin from being nervous. I really like C a lot, it takes courage to be yourself as a young performer and Janis is not the first thing you think of in that age. Nowadays every young performer seems to be steeped in the same form, not so much individuality...but they´re coming on!

@tnae: She is BACK, she's BETTER, and SHE RELEASED MONSTERS today! Ms. Courtney Hadwin, our hard-rockin' COURTZ, Queen of Rock, is back. Spread the word. 4th indie single of 2023, 'Monsters' streaming everywhere TODAY.
How's I've been hoping you do another Courtney hadwin but you haven't and I know you have your priorities Courtney like I said in the first comment that she can control her voice now better than any woman I've ever heard or any singer ever heard and she just turned 18 in July 6th and I guess she's thinner birthday in Turkey and a replica of a tiki bar and she sang a couple songs there on their karaoke machine lot of people love it and so do I anyway get back some Courtney Brothers love you take care

Great reaction from an aspiring artist who is now 19 and has matured enough to be able to create and release "own" music. What I dislike about your reaction - why is this video used for - (for me) legitimate calls for donations, or (for me) political statements of any kind that don't belong here. This is about an extremely good performance by a young artist!
URGENT: @tnae : Ms. Courtney Hadwin unleashes her original MONSTERS music video at 8pm UK time today. Noon west coast USA. Time2React! This is her 4th original single released in 2023 and was her first to chart, hitting No. 19 on Billboard's 'Hard Rock Digital Song Sales' chart for week of 14 OCT 2023. Then she dropped off. We NEED to rebuild, reconnect her with, her fan base!
Well, if you want to tell Janis Joplin or Mick Jagger or even Bob Dylan to speak in a more educated way, than go ahead and say that Courtney should also. However,I can see that you understand this is the cultural vibe she wants to express and it's working for her!
You need to take this down. I’m seven minutes into watching it and she hasn’t even gotten to the chorus yet it’s not supposed to be about you. It’s supposed to be about her and her performance.
You talk way too much. When you pause the video you’re talking and while the video is running, you’re talking, let’s see the performance and then talk.
Context, my friend. You seem to be hurting so I am sorry about that and hope you’re okay. But in this particular video the context you seem to be ignoring is that the song was requested by someone who lives in an area of the world where there is currently a devastating war. It would have made little sense for me to talk about a war in another country or on an entirely different continent than the war taking place in this gentleman’s home country. I understand from your comment that your frustration wasn’t born in viewing my video. If there is a conflict where you live or somewhere you have family or have some connection, I am truly sorry and hope you and your family/loved ones are safe.
She had the whole world on their feet in 30 seconds and had them feeding out of her hands. She was the true winner of AGT
Can't agree more. She was the real winner in my opinion also! So much talent!
She definitely was the winner.

Peace.
😮 she is channeling the spirits of past rock greats for guidance and Janice pushing herself to guide her 😊❤😊😊
The young lady is PHENOMENAL.
Thank you sir. 😊
Yep, boys are sensible, the worst is, tears drop every freaking time i see it! First time i see ur video, love ur sincerity 👍
she is built for audiences of thousands!
Thanks for your reaction
You kept your promise, that's good!!
She´s just doing her thing and I believe that her movements also is a way to release a little of the adrenalin from being nervous. I really like C a lot, it takes courage to be yourself as a young performer and Janis is not the first thing you think of in that age. Nowadays every young performer seems to be steeped in the same form, not so much individuality...but they´re coming on!
please do much more reactions on COURTNEY LIKE - [ SUCKER ] & [ OLD TOWN ROAD ] and so many more ! thank you !

I agree … the fact that I can’t make out her words is my only problem … but I love her.
I'm from Texas also and don't recall the shooting, which one ?,love your reaction.
My neighbor and I were watching her when she was on AGT and me neighbor said "What is going on with her left arm going all over the place ?" (when the song first started). I noticed it too, but just never said anything
It is 2023 Courtney is releasing her 4th single soon, catch them on Courtney Hadwins youtube channel.
Check out her cover of LOVE HURTS ❤
My favorite moment besides her performance was her jumping in to her dads arms
Why no album out yet?
I've been listening to her. I think she is amazing. Where exactly is she from?
I love the look on peoples faces when they’ve never seen Courtney and they watch this 😂
Courtney did open up for some big name bands she is awesome
Pure talent.
Watch her performance of Nutbush City on UK's Kids Voice competition, when she was 12. In some ways I think that on's even better.
Bless you.
She's singing Otis's classic with a body possessed by the spirit of Janis Joplin. A classic performance
Look at river deep mountain high
I was a teen when Joplin exploded onto the scene. This girl is as good and different as Janis was. Could be her reincarnation. She's phenomenal.
Much of the world is going insane.
Giving your support to the innocent and to the deceived is Never an insignificant thing to do.
I am a HUGE Courtney fan and can't wait for her to start taking over the rock world. This link is to her AGT Champions performance a few years later. ruclips.net/video/_ws-x65o4Wo/видео.html
Have you heard Cody Lee if not check him out on agt
Janis Joplin was imperfectly perfect
Mr commentator if you want to see a really amazing performance she look check out her performance on The voice UK kids where Danny mentors are
Courtney's first single is out including a video clip ruclips.net/video/DOjyS5w1Ono/видео.html and the second single video appeared any minutes ago ruclips.net/video/RyILP4DPPTo/видео.html
Time to react to Courtney's new Breable video!
Janis Joplin is who shes like ...but she more then that she her talented self
URGENT: @tnae : Ms. Courtney Hadwin unleashes her original MONSTERS music video at 8pm UK time today. Noon west coast USA. Time2React! This is her 4th original single released in 2023 and was her first to chart, hitting No. 19 on Billboard's 'Hard Rock Digital Song Sales' chart for week of 14 OCT 2023. Then she dropped off. We NEED to rebuild, reconnect her with, her fan base!
Courtney hadwin
Did u hear janis Chaplin brace ur self🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
🎯
Well, if you want to tell Janis Joplin or Mick Jagger or even Bob Dylan to speak in a more educated way, than go ahead and say that Courtney should also. However,I can see that you understand this is the cultural vibe she wants to express and it's working for her!
Try her original - yes - ORIGINAL - in the Champions competition the next year!! ruclips.net/video/_ws-x65o4Wo/видео.html
She morphed like dragon ball z
Shhhhh! Just listen then talk.
Courtney hadwin Whitney Houston I have nothing
You need to take this down. I’m seven minutes into watching it and she hasn’t even gotten to the chorus yet it’s not supposed to be about you. It’s supposed to be about her and her performance.
You really don't know music. Listen to Joplin and that era of music.
You talk way too much. When you pause the video you’re talking and while the video is running, you’re talking, let’s see the performance and then talk.
Thank you for your amazing reaction. I felt what you were feeling. Thank u again
Dude, you go on and on way too long. Get back to the video.
you know it's not the only war in the world, right? because you all act like this is the only one
If there is a conflict where you live or somewhere you have family or have some connection, I am truly sorry and hope you and your family/loved ones are safe.
why bother ?
You talk too much
You should’ve seen the raw version, before I trimmed it down 😅😂😂
