    He went to my gym regularly during lunch time and I got to talk to him briefly....he looked like he was in pain.... he said he had cancer.....but he really loved reminiscing about his football days and about the people he'd acted with way back when. I think he appreciated me noticing him as officer Hightower, he seemed happy about it. At least he is no longer suffering now. May he rest in peace.

    The mother in law pictures, arm bite and stooges eye block were all hysterical. RIP Bubba Smith. Great athlete and actor who Entertained us in many ways.

      Al Bundy is the most unsung, yet greatest ever to grace the gridiron.

    Bubba Smith, damn kids took the car. So friggin’ natural. I miss his comedy roles. They were all so memorable. Like how he was a florist in Police Academy. Miss that guy.

    Classic episode. I remember watching this LONG before I knew he was a form er pro football player. He was definitely from a different time. Wonder how many of today's NFL "stars" will still be relevant 10, 20, 30 yrs after their playing days.

    We will never forget the fact that Al Bundy scored four touchdowns in a single game while playing for the Polk High School Panthers in the 1966 city championship game versus Andrew Johnson High School, including the game-winning touchdown in the final seconds against his old nemesis, "Spare Tire" Dixon.

    O'neal played 6 seasons in the nfl from 74-80 5 with the Detroit lions had 6 career picks including 4 in '78 and 6 sacks in 100 career games with Detroit 74-79 and green bay '80 ed had a solid career before becoming an iconic sitcom actor

    what strikes me as odd about this: Smith is 6'7 and O'Neill 6'1, but when standing next to each other, Smith is not (high)towering over O'Neill as he should be with 6 inches to spare
