He went to my gym regularly during lunch time and I got to talk to him briefly....he looked like he was in pain.... he said he had cancer.....but he really loved reminiscing about his football days and about the people he'd acted with way back when. I think he appreciated me noticing him as officer Hightower, he seemed happy about it. At least he is no longer suffering now. May he rest in peace.
The mother in law pictures, arm bite and stooges eye block were all hysterical. RIP Bubba Smith. Great athlete and actor who Entertained us in many ways.
@@dedgzus6808 Athletically, I'd say neither. I mean did OJ score 4 touchdowns in one HS game? I doubt it... Al Bundy is the most unsung, yet greatest ever to grace the gridiron.
One of the greatest shoes, I mean shows ever! RIP Hightower You inspired me to become a Police Officer for 20 years Thank you so much for inspiring and making so many wonderful people laugh You will be forever missed Brother
Phenomenal clip!!! Al Bundy and Bubba going at it. Got to love it!!! Much respect to both of them👍🏼. RIP Bubba, it was great watching you with Al - an unforgettable moment. Great show 👏🏼
Bubba Smith, damn kids took the car. So friggin’ natural. I miss his comedy roles. They were all so memorable. Like how he was a florist in Police Academy. Miss that guy.
Classic episode. I remember watching this LONG before I knew he was a form er pro football player. He was definitely from a different time. Wonder how many of today's NFL "stars" will still be relevant 10, 20, 30 yrs after their playing days.
We will never forget the fact that Al Bundy scored four touchdowns in a single game while playing for the Polk High School Panthers in the 1966 city championship game versus Andrew Johnson High School, including the game-winning touchdown in the final seconds against his old nemesis, "Spare Tire" Dixon.
What a great episode. It would of been awesome if Spare Tire Dixion was in more episode. I miss shows like this. Everything is so pc, woke and lame now.
O'neal played 6 seasons in the nfl from 74-80 5 with the Detroit lions had 6 career picks including 4 in '78 and 6 sacks in 100 career games with Detroit 74-79 and green bay '80 ed had a solid career before becoming an iconic sitcom actor
what strikes me as odd about this: Smith is 6'7 and O'Neill 6'1, but when standing next to each other, Smith is not (high)towering over O'Neill as he should be with 6 inches to spare

I thought he had cte Died because drug interactions 😕
Years of playing football and dealing with football injuries in the past really never goes away
One of the greatest moments in television history if you ask me :D
And in sports history :)
Agreed!
A wonderful moment for all middle aged men.
So true!
Well no one was . And no it’s not
The mother in law pictures, arm bite and stooges eye block were all hysterical. RIP Bubba Smith. Great athlete and actor who Entertained us in many ways.
One could argue that OJ Simpson was a greater athlete and a greater actor.
@@dedgzus6808 Athletically, I'd say neither. I mean did OJ score 4 touchdowns in one HS game? I doubt it...
Al Bundy is the most unsung, yet greatest ever to grace the gridiron.
It was like Obi-wan and Anakin Force-pushing at each other during duel.
The physical comedy in this scene is outstanding.
I was 22 and I still remember losing it when they pulled the mother in law photos out.. Epic beyond words
One of the greatest shoes, I mean shows ever!
RIP Hightower

Great moment in Married With Children history
I met Bubba way back in the day at a book signing - dude was literally larger than life and pretty humble despite his 'celebrity'
I loved the quiet menacing presence yet comedic timing by Bubba. One of my favorite episodes.
I use to watch this show with my Dad. I miss these days.

This was hilarious... Both of them will never be forgotten... ☺️
2:51 The follow up here to the mother-in-law bit was pure gold.
Weaponizing pics of mother-in-laws will never not be funny. LOL!
Spare tire would have made a great NO MAAM member.
Indeed.
Absolutely. That would have been awesome to see.
They need a good enforcer.
So bitter sweet, one of tv's seminal comedy moments and the loss of the great Bubba Smith. Rest well, Sir, Your legacy lives.
it's sleepy time now, great man!
rest in endless peace!!!

Arguably one of the funniest episodes in TV hisory🤣🤣🤣 RIP Mr.Bubba Smith...
What a great episode. It would of been awesome if Spare Tire Dixion was in more episode. I miss shows like this. Everything is so pc, woke and lame now.

That was a different Ed O'Neal (name spelled differently).
@@jackdavis8596 He had a try out with Pittsburg and was cut on the last day from what I remember.
Beautiful.
They cut out one of the best parts. "On the count of 3 (dead eye stare by Bubba) ... 3" The look on Al's face when he said that was priceless.
One of the greatest moments in football history.
Actual football or American football?
@@RedPhroggz both. Actually all versions of football.
One of my favorite episodes of MWC.
Greatest sitcom ever
Hightower byłeś i jesteś Mistrzem ❤️🇵🇱
Bubba Smith kinda reminds me of my uncle. May both RIP
I sure liked this guy! I saw the Married with Children last night too. May he RIP.
RIP sweet daddy bodyguard from the good times
Wow. 🤌🤌🤌 the Nostalgia.
Ein guter schauspieler ging von uns Rip Bubba
I'll never forget this episode as a kid, thought this was real 💀
lol This scene is a classic.
I envy the studio audience who got to see this in person.
The weaponization of mother in law pics was genius.
I dropped you like 3rd period french"""😂😂😂😂😂😂
R.I.P Bubba Smith 🙏
The best comedy show of all time. I'm single with vasectomy in part thanks to Al Bundy.
"Taste's great, less filling" tribute thrown in here!
Great Scene!! RIP!!
Both actors were also football player's who both got football scholarship's to college.
absolutely hilarious!!! 🤣😂🤣😂
RIP BUBBA! "KILL BUBBA KILL" LIVES ON!
The thing that gets me is why Al even bothers to get the trophy back for Polk High. They didn't do shit for him.
"The horror! The horror! Mother-in-law pictures! Oh, the humanities!"
Legends!!
😮 bubba died. Sad. ✝️😢
It's quite hard to give up American Football.
RIP BUBBA
Don't mess with Bundy when he has a football in hand.
Was it a coincidence that this episode came on last night like a couple of hours after they announced his death. RIP
"Headlines should've read *"Spare tire crushes unidentified white man at goal line"* ."
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
R.I.P forever Hightower
This scene came close to happening in real life, as Ed almost made the Steelers and would have played against Bubba Smith in an NFL game.
O'neal was on the lions for 5 seasons including having 4 of his six career picks in '78 also 6 career sacks in a 100 games for Detroit and green bay
@@krlm2280 That wasn't him, a different Ed O'Neill
Al Bundy vs Spare tire...an episode classic!!!
At least they are friends at the end.
Hightower!!
Why did the Pittsburg Steelers drop Ed O'Neil is beyond me.
why did they cut off the sock scene? unlike!
Man, he's gotta really high belt-line.
Oh your kidding when i just found this had no idea
"On the count of 3...3".
"Let's rock."
Touch down AL.
I remember seeing this in 3rd grade 🤣
Oh no! Now Peggy will have to get up early to put the garbage out.
I miss the bundys.
Billy Martin
