Awesome playing. I have this same guitar and it is by far the best Epiphone I’ve ever played. I never liked them before. I’ll never understand why Slash pickups are not in this guitar. I dropped Gibson Burstbucker 2 and 3 in mine and it is amazing now. The fit and finish of these are fantastic and the neck is incredibly comfortable.
Congratulations you got it man. Maybe you need to try the Seymour Duncan Slash if you need it. I don't know what's the different compare to stock pick up now.

Yes, this guitar is awesome! I have a much better playing experience on this guitar than my other epis and gibson les paul goldtop. The gold hue on this guitar is lighter than the gibson goldtop. Also, the golden color changes depending on camera angle and lighting.
I am getting the very same guitar this Friday and cannot wait. One of the first things I am going to try to learn is this solo, or at least the first half of it. You make it look like easy yet I know I will be struggling with it. 😂
I got the first version of appetite destruction Epiphone but a little disappointed on reliability due to the pick up or wiring issues after some time. But the sound of it was massive due to Seymour Duncan Slash signature. It was last model I got it. It's a dream come true but just upset about the sound had cut off while playing.
