The Dallas Cowboys executed a Draft Day trade with the Detroit Lions that worked out great for them, but we recently learned that it worked out even better than it possibly could have. The trade solely was dictated by need for each team. A trade of this nature wont hurt either team as it was small in scale. Its not like a trade like the Hersal Walker deal where Dallas built its dynasty from it or like the Rams building the lions winning foundation by giving away a ton of high draft picks for Stafford.

Lions paid a high price to move up. In 3 years, we will see which players were worth it. If Arnold becomes a pro bowler, then Det would say it was a great trade.
