The black jersey’s were only worn for two seasons. Those were some of the worst jerseys I’ve ever seen. No creativity went into them. I’m not a fan of the fisherman logo but that jersey (reverse retro) was so much better than the black ones they wore from 2015 to 2017. I did buy an adidas stadium series jersey at the UBS Arena team store in April 2024 at a discount. For the last two home games of the regular season, everything at the store has a 20% discount as part of fan appreciation. The last two home games of this season in April 2025 are against the Rangers and Capitals. I’m not so sure that they would discount merchandise for an Islanders Rangers game.
The live organ is synonymous with ice hockey (baseball as well). There’s nothing like a live organ being played at a hockey game. LET’S GO ISLANDERS.

They were paying homage to the Red Wings being an original 6 team they don’t get to face often so they wore their white jerseys home like they use to
