The main advantage of Caulipower over Hypnoshroom is that Caulipower doesn't need to be eaten and can affect zombies over a distance. That itself is a great advantage over Hyphoshroom.

Hypno Shroom definitely wins here, aside from Caulipower giving you a free power toss, Hypno Shroom isn't as random as this new plant is. That's the main problem with Caulipower, it hypnotises random zombies. You can't control which zombie it targets, meanwhile Hypno Shroom does the exact opposite and offers more control and power with a free gargantuar.

Well If you’re in a challenging level where you can’t lose more than one plant or something, the hypno Shroom really sucks. Rather than being able to use Calipower the whole round.

Bruh, Hypno-shroom can’t transform Gargantuars. Hypno-shroom must be EATEN for its effect to work. Gargantuars CRUSH it. In the same way, Hypno-shroom can’t transform other zombies that don’t eat, like the Excavator, Fisherman, or Mecha-Football zombies.

Yes, you can hypnotize a zombie to BECOME a Gargantuar, but you cannot hypnotize an unhypnotized Gargantuar.

Caulipower with a power up can kill almost anything and everything on the map. Hypno Shroom with a power up can kill off a whole lane, but depending on the amount of zombies, they might kill your gargantuar. The cost of Caulipower (sun) is cheaper than the cost of Hypno Shroom if you think about it. 1 Caulipower is equal to 2 Hypno Shrooms, but Hypno Shrooms are single use, and Caulipowers can hypnotize a lot more than 2 zombies. Hypno Shroom can hypnotize zombies but they have to be eaten first, which are disadvantages for levels with the rules: “Don’t lose more than 1 plant, or Don’t use more than 1,500 sun.” So I don’t recommend you use Hypno Shroom for those levels. The wait time of Hypno Shroom is 20 seconds, and the wait time of Cauliflower is 45 seconds. The time it takes to complete a level is about 7 minutes. You’d have hypnotized 21 zombies with Hypno Shroom in the span of 7 minutes. And by planting Caulipowers only, you will have hypnotized about 81 zombies in the span of 7 minutes. Thanks for reading if you made it this far. And hopefully this wasn’t biased. I really love Hypno Shroom, it’s still my favorite plant, but I think Caulipower is better. EA filled this great, original uninspired game with boring repetitive levels, no creativity and lots of microtransactions. Who needs either when you got blover. Ok let me explain why blover is op. Anything that launches a zombie forward or backwards makes a zombie airborne ( except maybe primal peashooter ) that means blover becomes an instant kill. Examples include the zombie that launches other zombies forward in neon the Dino in Jurassic that does the same chard guard and spring bean. Just bring chard guard blover a sun plant of choice and as much stall and explosives as possible. This strategy is actually overpowered on levels that don’t limit how many plants can die and aren’t last stand levels. And it has the bonus of not giving a crap about jester zombie which apparently most people have trouble with.

here are my thoughts about the hypno and caulipower:
Special: the caulipower is basically a free power toss which can be helpful if any zombies got through your defense. the hypno shrooms special turns zombies into gargantuars which is helpful if they last zombie is near the end of the course while others are as well (if they are behind) the only bad thing that can go wrong are multiple gargantuars. To be honest I give the hypno a point here because unless you're broke you can always use a power toss and you can even get some for free.
Normal: caulipower can hypnotize multiple zombies when it is alive while the hypno shroom cant. since the hypno shroom takes 19 seconds to recharge this can cost you some plants and maybe even a lawnmower. Although the caulipower hypnotises randomly I will give it a point.
Cost: Hypno costs 125 and caulipower costs 250. Point for hypno.
Recharge: Hypno recharges fairly slow but caulipower charges way WAY to slow! if you're going a caulipower army, the zombies MAY overwhelm you but so can the hypno shroom. so no points.
Usefulness: you can use the hypno to hypnotize the zombies you want to hypnotize. the only real problem is if the weakest zombie is first it can cost you because you really wanna hypnotize the strongest (or you can use the power leaf and let it do the rest.). The caulipower can also save you but only if you get lucky or use its special. it can hypnotize multiple zombies when its alive but his randomness can cost you big time. A point to the hypno shroom

I think that they are both very good. Having caulipower, this helps me a lot. I usually put it in the back, and slowly increase it’s numbers. This only gets me about 2 or 3 caulipowers though, but it helps immeasurably in the long run. With its random hypnotizeation, it can help get through the field of zombies, while you start getting your plants on the field. After that, it mostly just helps with the zombie problem. Things like Octo-Zombie, Mecha-football Zombie, piano zombie, zombies that can’t usually be hypnotized with a hypno-shroom, are very interesting to play around with. If I could use them both, I would, as they would both be useful.

Caulipower's power up attack the whole board Killing the zombies targeted unlike Hypno-Shroom which only affects it's lane or the Gargantuan may die.

caulipower.. like the cousin of hypno shroom. ive noticed it likes to be control of the field. hypno shroom is for more swarm moments because of its plant food. caulipower seems to like being the king of hypnotism . well maybe you should know to put two caulipower plus firepower in behind for true garden war.

That lonely Galaxy oh so by that logic since that only affects one world blover must be overpowered since both the velociraptors in Jurassic area and the disco spinning zombies in the neon area make zombies airborne allowing for an instant kill. No but seriously you can also trigger this with chard guard and spring bean blover is actually overpowered.

I think I know why they made caulipower premium, he’s pretty OP. I prefer him over shroom because shroom isn’t as good as him imo. He has to be eaten and you have to look for a good target(unless you use plant food). And when shroom is eaten you have to deal with the other zombies on the row that are probably stronger than the hypnotized one. But if you don’t have money then shroom is fine. They’re both good in their own ways

Think about it like this, you’d only be killing off one lane, and depending on the situation, your gargantuar might die if you use hypno shroom’s power up. But if you used Calipower’s power up you’d be killing almost the whole map guaranteed. If you use Hypno Shroom, you’d lose a plant but get 1 zombie on your side. (Bad for challenges like, “Don’t lose more then 1 plant) if you use Calipower, depending on how you play and at what level the Calipower is at, you can get a zombie on your side in every 45 seconds.
I think caulipower super would be better. He can yeet zombies off the map, (a lot faster than hypno can turn a zombie into a gargantuan and manage to get a few hits) also he can get them from any lane too, but ok.

I just love Caulipower!! The Ability to win most levels with Hypnotizing is just awesome! Pretty sure he can get Gargantuars too. (He also has the ability to Hypnotize zombies you can't hypnotize with Hypno shroom.

Hypno Shroom can make the hypnotized zombies fight more zombies while Cauliopwer sends them back at the moment they enter and they can't do much work for you killing zombies. Also Hypno Shroom's power is better in my opinion it's so overpowered.
I like hypno more cuz they can be planted quickly,they have like the best plant food effect and because of caulipower having such a long time to load u need an imitater to not be screwed which makes you have to spend more edit: hypno shroom cost gems which can be gotten by epic quests while caulipower really needs money,also caulipower needs time to hypnotize a zombie while hypno shroom doesn't but both of them need luck because caulipower is only effective when u are lucky and It hits a strong zombie and hypno shroom u need to be lucky that the one in front is not weak like 1 imp in front of 5 bucketheads ( so I regret getting fire peashooter )

I go with caulipower but the hypno-shroom can defeat chickens much more easier.
Caulipower definitely wins because it's plant food is basically a free power toss and it can actually hypnotise gargantuars and it doesn't have to be eaten to be hypnotised. Amazing.
Hypno-Shroom is slightly better because in terms of the randomness the Caulipower and Hypno-Shroom's plant food ability is way cooler

another plant does the same thing the one that produces zombies as it's main ability with it's plant food being the same as the Hypno shroom that's called a zomboid gargantuar and as a matter of fact it's actually the top 3 strongest gargantuar in the entire game only being defeated by gladiator gargantuar and prime gargantuar and gladiator gargantuar won the reason is because the prime gargant can't three shot him while the gladiator gargant won because it can 2 shot the prime one

caulipower is much better, when you have a stack of them they can hypnotize LOTS of zombies while with a hypnoshroom only one. and sure it turns into a garg but you need plantfood which isnt always that common in some levels

If no palnt food, Cauliflower, but if you do have plant food, Hypno Shroom. I would choose hypno Shroom though, cuz its free if you have gems XD

Improving Hypnotized Zombies
Hypnotizing zombies, whether through Hypno-shroom, Caulipower or Enchant-mint, is kind of a nice thing. It's fun to play around with, but overall underwhelming. Not all zombies can use their special abilities when hypnotized, so here I'm proposing a list of buffs to hypnotized zombies.
What if hypnotized zombies in PVZ2 can use their special abilities?
General
*All zombies are fully healed upon hypnotizing.
*Hypnotized zombies will not be able to eat your brains in any circumstance.
Ancient Egypt
*Ra Zombie: Obviously stealing sun isn't good, so instead of stealing sun it'll stop moving to generate 2 big suns (150 sun) every now and then.
*Camel Zombies: Hypnotizing one will hypnotize the whole group.
*Explorer/Torchlight Zombie: Upon getting hypnotized, his torch will reignite (if previously extinguished), dealing 90 nds upon contact with opposing zombies (except Imp Dragon Zombies).
*Tomb Raiser Zombie: Creates tombstones that block opposing zombies, absorbing 35 bites. Plants cannot destroy these (except Grave-Buster), but you can shovel them up.
Pirate Seas
*Pirate Captain Zombie: Releases a hypnotized Zombie Parrot upon getting hypnotized, which will go try to steal an opposing zombie.
Wild West
*Pianist Zombie: Cowboy Zombies (both unhypnotized and hypnotized) will regularly swap lanes, but has a higher chance to bunch them up in lanes with more defenses. It crushes opposing zombies, dealing 40 nds at a time (in the same way that unhypnotized ones take a while to crush defensive plants).
*Poncho Zombie: Gains a grate if it didn't already have one.
Frostbite Caves
*Hunter Zombie: Uses his snowball attack on opposing zombies, which first slows and then freezes on the fourth hit. Each snowball deals 1 nds and is single-target.
Lost City
*Imp Porter: If there are Gold Tiles ahead, it will keep walking to the left until it reaches the first one, where it will set up a campsite that spawns hypnotized Adventurer Zombies.
*Turquoise Skull Zombie: If there are opposing zombies up to four tiles in front of him, he will use 25 sun from your sun bank to fire a beam that instantly kills all zombies in that range. (Hypnotized Gargantuars are one-shotted by these, for reference.)
Far Future
*Shield Zombie: Activates his force field against the zombies, absorbing 60 bites.
*Mecha-Football Zombie: Pushes all zombies on one tile with the same properties that Primal Peashooter's projectiles. Each push does 1 nds.
*Gargantuar Prime: Also fires its lasers at a random tile on columns 6-9. These lasers can kill both plants and zombies, dealing 90 nds to zombies.
Dark Ages
*Jester Zombie: Can deflect Hair Metal Gargantuar's shockwaves, Octo Zombie's octopi, and other Jester Zombies' deflected projectiles back at them.
*Wizard Zombie: Uses staff to attack zombies with magic, dealing 60 nds per hit. It follows the same targeting as it does for plants: first Zombies in his lane, then Zombies in other lanes.
Neon Mixtape Tour
*General: All hypnotized NMT zombies respond to their jams.
*Punk Zombie: Kicks zombies back 1 tile, dealing 1 nds per kick until defeating them via damage or kicking them back past the 9th column. Can only kick back one Zombie at a time.
*Glitter Zombie: Trails her rainbow, protecting plants in her lane up to three tile behind her. Crushes zombies instantly.
*MC Zom-B: Spins mic, dealing 40 nds to all opposing zombies in a 3×3 area.
*Breakdancer Zombie: Kicks zombies back towards the start akin to Punk Zombie, except Breakdancer kicks back all zombies he's in contact with, kicks them into the air, and kicks them back 1.5 tiles.
*Boombox Zombie: Overrides current jam and neutralizes all opposing zombies for the duration of its song (except Healer Zombie, Medusa Zombie and Magician Zombie).
*Hair Metal Gargantuar: Will use its shockwave attack on opposing zombies, dealing 15 nds to the first zombie it comes in contact with.
Big Wave Beach
*Octo Zombie: Throws octopi onto opposing zombies, immobilizing them and making an obstacle for other zombies to eat. The octopi absorb 21 bites from zombies. If other zombies kill the octopi, the trapped zombie is freed. If plants kill the octopi, the trapped zombie dies with it.
Modern Day
*All-Star Zombie: Upon getting hypnotized it will begin charging again, dealing 40 nds on the first zombie he encounters. Any Super-Fan Imps he punts will fly to the 9th column and explode, dealing 40 nds to all opposing zombies on that tile.
Other
* Firebreath Zombie: Warms nearby all zombies (except Imp Dragon Zombie).
What do you guys think? I know some are pretty OP, but if the Zombies can be OP, why can't they bring that power with them when hypnotized?

Going to have to say Hypnoshroom, I get the power of Calupower, but in PvZ2, speed is more important than power, and speed is the one thing that Hypnoshroom is WAY ahead of Caulipower in. Plus the Gargantuar thing, OP AF! Some people say Hypnoshroom is week as it needs to be eaten, but you will get the sun, and the recharge for the Hypnoshroom in the Time that it takes for a Caulipower to hypnotize a zombie, so #Hypnoshroom

Well they're probably pretty equal. Hypno Shroom has an advantage with it efficiency and cooldown speed. While Caulipower is more on it's impact and flexibility.
Technically Hypno Shroom would be better because you don't really need actual money to buy it though, since Caulipower is a premium plant
