As a og at 52 and still a die hard Bulls fan I was fortunate enough to cop every original pair of Jordan's from the 1's to the 14's except for the 2's, so after 35 years later I finally got a pair of Jordan Chicago 2's in my collection and rotation!
Badboy’s are Comfy aren’t they? Toe Box is roomy and the shoe breaks in easily!

I am 42, grew up in south Chicago suburbs during the early 80s and 90s. MJ was the greatest fundamentally sound basketball player, purest athlete winner I have ever seen. You can never debate greatness and dominance 😎
Johnny "Red" Kerr and Jim Durham were the absolute BEST Bulls announcers in Bulls history, period. The emotional play by play calling was unmatched and to listen to these 2 call the game, you could almost close your eyes and still "see" what was going on. I'll never forget those guys. RIP.

A very underrated season. He could have won DPOY this year too as he recorded over 100 blocks and 200 steals that year, which has rarely ever been done.

Even in 1987 the Jordan 2 looked like something from the future and it didn't have a swoosh how dope was that?This shoe along with the 5, is my favorite Jordan ever.
That game against the Knicks where he was dunking on them all night is one of my favorite. MJ got soooo many amazing highlights that is almost impossible to see them all unless you watch different in depth games play such as this. MJ ❤️ 💯 GOAT. Great channel 👏 👍

You know what's funny bro, I find myself watching your videos on MJ highlights and it makes me remember just how good he was, but nut only that, he was literally the best individual player in the league arguably his rookie year in the NBA.
Notice I didn't say he was the greatest yet, because greatness is accumulated by what someone has accomplished overall when it's said and done. However, he was cleary the best individual basketball player entering the league in 84, hence the immediate jealousy of the others stars in the league. Coach Bobby Knight said it best when he declared way before MJ step on the NBA court that MJ was the best basketball player he had ever seen, and will probably go down in history as the greatest, well I think it's safe to say he was super prophetic in that observation and assessment lol.💯
I'm looking at this video in amazement because I haven't seen a lot of them ever, and I'm from Chicago so I witnessed MJ playing days as a Bull, but you tend to forget MJ was different and literally made a highlight move with every possession of the ball yo lol 🤣.
We can't say that about anybody since, and the only one I can say who came close was my favorite player Magic Johnson with his showtime highlights, but he was before MJ.

The Jordan 2’s are my faves. My first time seeing our hometown legend Andrew “the Boston Strangler” Tony take that 50 piece from MJ.
You know what’s highly evident when watching MJ highlights. You can see a certain level of futility and frustration from the opposing defenders because no matter what they did they couldn’t stop him. He literally was an anomaly they had never seen before.

5:22 - he goes from ~32 feet out to a dunk in under two seconds. There's never been a faster point A to point B player in the halfcourt than MJ. Dude is 7-8 feet behind the 3-point line there.

I love 2’s man and they are certainly the black sheep of the whole line. The only pair I have are the Chicago lows and love them. The OG colorways aren’t released very often and would love to see another release of the Chicago high’s...

these sneakers look too modern for 1986. I look at Jordan 1's and they're like any other Nike sneaker of the time, but the 2's look like someone went back in time and left a pair.

After Jordan and Kobe era I don't find the Nba entertaining. The softness allows boring 3 point games. The heightlughts make today make it seem like they're making great play the whole game but in reality all I see is traveling and alot of passing. I don't beleive in the saying that todays games are more technical excuse. All my nephews that are into basketball are obsessed with shooting 3s. Its not a coincidence. Thats my opinion and Im sticking with it.
