Ohio State - Notre Dame Prediction: ruclips.net/video/s_x1Izgrg-8/видео.html Ohio State vs Notre Dame All-Time Breakdown: ruclips.net/video/4HjqPaXSfHw/видео.html
Amazing that OSU was a notoriously slow starter in most of their games this season (Purdue, Indiana, and Penn State). They relied on a run first mentality. Once they hit the playoffs, they have been fast starters due to the pass first mentality. They started fast against Texas but had some penalties that gave the momentum to Texas. If they do that against ND it will be a problem. Go Bucks!
Yeah, there was an attitude adjustment on the run first mentality in there somewhere, but I can't place my finger on it. I think it's trauma-induced amnesia. 😅😅
You may also want to factor in where the games were played. OSU was home vs. Indiana and Purdue. They played Penn State in Happy Valley, a tough venue. ND played Penn State at a neutral site and Indiana at home.
We all thought OSU was gonna beat UM. Notre Dame is similar to UM. What really matters is PLAY CALLING. If they replicate the first two games of this playoff, then we should be ok. I just want them to throw it all out there and play as good as they can...no regrets
Penn State won the turnover battle it was PSU +1 not ND. Also could have pointed out the disparity in rushing yards between 1st and 2nd half. But good overall analysis.
Im a big fan of "THE VOICE" thanx Mark for a great season !!! - Howzabout a shout out to the FCS championship affair betwix NDSU 35 - 32 Montana State - if you are a TRUE college football junkie all teams, leagues, conferences matter !!! - So => loving the CFB championship game; the table is set and the horses are in the gate ! I would love to see ND cover the spread (OSU -8) and i would love to see the total go Over (-45 1/2) - there's an old saying in college sports my friend: "on any given day, anybody can beat anybody!" - The best team doesn't always win ! my advise => bet the OVER and root for both teams !
Come on.... Ryan Day has always had cupboard full and epicly failed. The other is in is 3rd year and is producing with less talent. Im not a fan of either team, but Ryan Day has been mostly a failure to meet expectations coach... FACT.
The deciding factor will be play calling, penalities and clock management by John Cooper 2.0. OSU played 2 game up to ability and then another poor game plan and execution against Texas. Day better get his head right or Freeman will beat him.
OSU has faced more CFP ranked teams than non CFP for the entire season...7 CFP teams versus 6 non-CFP. They have beaten 4 top 5 teams tying LSU 2019. If they beat Notre Dame as an AP #3 it will be 5 for 5 legendary...I get the comparison ND has injured players OSU lost players too...Buckeyes win period.
@ml1754 As you said , Ohio State lost their starting left tackle . Then, on November 18th, their starting center and Rimington trophy winner in practice . The Chemistry of the Offensive against Indiana and Michigan was noticeable .
Actually, if not for one play, the 98 yard run, when the Indiana defense was out of position, the offensive stats are almost even. And the ND running back gained about 13 yards n 10 carries after that run. He’s good, he’s fast, but it was a fluke.
Michigan fan here. OSU will blow the doors off of ND. The Irish have played NOBODY and they beat a depleted Georgia team along with James Franklin. ND could not beat Michigan right now if they played. the Irish QB would get his neck bent running a counter into Graham and Grant. OSU DESERVES to be a national champion after beating the teams they have. No whining, no finger pointing and no childish cheating accusations. I DESPISE BOTH programs but respect Ohio State the way they responded after losing at home to Michigan. Bucks 34- Irish 9. Go Blue!
Keep telling everyone how Nd is gonna smoke the Bucks Buckeyes don't have a chance do they there soft weak just a practice game for ND hell they shouldn't even play the game just give the trophy to Nd right

@@ScottCleve33ND has faced better defenses in the Playoff. Oregon’s defense was their weaker unit. Tennessee didn’t show up for that game. And Texas held OSU to 21 offensive points. While Indiana, Georgia And Penn State all have very good defenses.
Only Ohio State can beat Ohio State. If the Buckeyes don’t commit costly turnovers or commit momentum killing turnovers, I see Notre Dame hanging tough for three quarters. Ohio State’s superior offense will pull away for the victory in the fourth. Should be an entertaining game.

I wish the common opponent thing mattered. A team we beat in Columbus (without our best players) lost to a team that beat the complete shit out of us on our own turf a few days ago.
I dont think the common opponent thing matters that much but Michigan is in OSU's head. It's a mental thing imo. Notre dame worries me most cause they play a similar style as Michigan's.
Its funny everyone calls this a blow out just based off the past, I assume, because the numbers don't show it, the last two matchups don't show it, ND just beat the SEC champ and 2 top Big 10 teams, this idea of a blow out coming seems so silly Could it happen, sure, but it would be nonsense to act like thats just a given
People will say this is lopsided regardless…it’s not. Believe me, these two teams have a rivalry-like feel between them and it will show up on the field. The ND boys are going to be pumped to put it to OSU. The big question is can OSU get a few big plays for TDs? Otherwise I am going to stick with my Irish on this one. ☘️🏆
I can definitely appreciate a fans rooting for their team and I have no hate for the Irish whatsoever since my stepfather who is in poor health is a die-hard, but where exactly do you think Notre Dame is going to score points?? I think these teams are very close. If NotreDame was fully healthy I think they are better but the huge injury losses could doom NotreDame. Unless 1 of these teams has a lot of turnovers, penalties, negative plays, breakdowns I think this game will go down to the wire. Who wins. My gut tells me NotreDame 23 to 20.
