Green airlines 880 was a normally scheduled flight from New Yorks John F Kennedy International Airport To Honlulu In Hawaii. After taking off the 747-231 experienced Severe turbulence which was from a small microburst that was non-fatal and a circuit breaker malfunction in the aircraft’s underside. Around 35 minutes after departure the aircraft experienced a short circuit causing a fuel explosion. The pieces of the aircraft shredded off the sides of the fuselage causing a severe Decompression. During the Decompression 7 passengers were Launched out of the aircraft 3 into engine 2 causing it to burst into flames. A few minutes later the aircraft experienced a fuel explosion which ripped the nose off of the 747 and hit engine 2. The aircraft immediately started diving at the ground at a speed of over 300 knots. While the 747 was in a dive the vertical stabilizer began to seperate and eventually the tail separated from the aircraft.
