I dont buy the notion that Harry overspent anywhere or wasted money throughout his managerial career. The blokes made money for every club hes managed and brought some quality players to the premier league. Pompey made a few quid on players like benjani, yakubu, johnson and diarra, he signed modric and van der vaart for spurs as well as players like Sandro and Kyle walker n Scott Parker not to mention the job he did at West ham. Freddie kanoute wound up going on to do alright for Sevilla after leaving the hammers and he was developing a fantastic side there prior to getting replaced by Glenn roeder.
Don’t care what u think of the man. He built some excellent sides and I think almost everyone had Pompey as a second team during his time there. Should have got the England job over Woy took spurs took another level.
