So weird to watch. 😄I`m a long time subscriber and love to travel to Vegas. But i live just about an hour away from where you stayed. Also you timed your stay well. Now we have 5ft of snow and -25c.

Welcome to our part of the world. It’s cold and cosy!
At a buffet, I personally sneak corn into the buffet so others can enjoy them. I hide 6 boiled corn ears in my jacket pockets. It is a joy for me to see other patrons of the establishment eat my corn thinking they were part of the buffet

So uh, yeah, word of warning, Oslo is NOT car-friendly. It's basically at a size where cars makes everything NOT WORK, and therefore they will let you drive, but they prefer if you don't. The local transit options are quite reasonably priced, and are clean and safe. I would recommend those to anyone else thinking about visiting. As a tourist you probably don't have a car anyway, so think about how much you'll save on car rentals too!

The only reason that your pastry and coffee was “just” $20 is because the exchange rate on the dollar is very good for Americans right now. The all time average on the dollar is about 6.5 Norwegian kroner. Now it’s closer to 10. It’s even been as low as 4,9. So that pastry and coffee would have been closer to 40usd if the exchange rates were at a more normal level.
