Wanted to say this from a long time u and harkirat are the one who adds “E” to SDE/SWE rest all of us are just developing an api end point! We have forgotten the element of engineering! What we are doing is learn to find and fix punctures in a tyre manufacturing company rather understanding how to manufacture a tyre what quality of rubber to be used etc etc! Thanks for the reminder we are engineers before developers

Being a developer is a power to build somthing , I can feel it,
Correct
This was so relatable. My interview went exactly as you mentioned. I talked about my web development project in my introduction, and after that, the interviewer asked me to explain more about it because he was curious. I enthusiastically explained the architecture of the project-how my frontend and backend work, how the APIs are handled, how tokens are sent, how sessions work, and many more things, including the integration of AI and LLM in my application. I also asked him for a piece of paper and requested if I could draw and explain my project’s architecture. He was very interested. After that, he asked me some DSA questions, which I solved, though they weren’t the most optimal solutions. Still, I got selected for the company. It was a great experience, and I’ve never felt so happy!
So honest brother , I realized this when I switched to my first company it’s not just about clearing the interview. After that, you need to be able to add value to the team or organization. I was reading and trying to implement new things, but most of the time it felt more like interview prep. Now, you've given me more clarity on what I'm actually trying to do, and I see that I've been stuck in a cycle of just learning to prepare answers for interviews.
Also, I was totally unaware of the idea of learning from engineering blogs thanks for that . . .
Hi bro I have also recently started working in a startup and I got like complicated task recently and even I took help from the senior still couldn't resolve so I was concerned what to do
thank you for this video, it was really calming and is making me really hopeful, ive been building projects right out of college, im currently close to completing my second full-stack project, i dont have any experience, i never sat for any placements because they were just not good and im already graduated, but i want to show recruiters that i can build just out of curiosity so im taking my time to make it standout from everyone else's work
Sorry to say , but most domain level rounds are based on particular structure which companies disclose before the start of the interview process. Curiosity is important but interview process are against the whole flow of curiosity also.
We know that by what he is saying bro understand that if you are that person you are prepared, do you understand that?
Agree🙌
@@Surajk_umar01 bruh really are you a fan boy?
@@Surajk_umar01I didn't get what u were saying, plz improve ur English.
@@akshatxd9871Muze to samaj bhi nai aya kya bolraha he 😂
That's what exactly I was thought when i started coding. Because everyone is running behind the money, they don't have curiosity to up their skills. Most of the people learn MERN and think they know everything. Keep it brother ❤❤
respect++ for Piyush, a well-needed video for the young gen.
Thanks, Piyush Bhai, this is exactly what I needed! I'm working on an amazing project related to mental health issues and i know that in today's world, no one care about this, and everywhere influencers are growing each day who they are creating FOMO.
Currently I'm learning reactJS and DSA in C++ together. Hard to Maintain Consistency but Feels Great at the end of Day.
kuch nahi hoga
Good Brother, I am doing the same
@@ultimateintimater stop demotivating. Tujhse* kuch nhi hoga
Every new developer needs Big bro like you to make them realize what path they should choose and focus on what they actual want and how they can achieve it. Sometimes reality checks are necessary! Thanks for your guidance. Looking forward to meet you someday in my life.
It's really an amazing idea to follow, to deep dive into concepts purely out of interest, but sadly just like 99% of freshers in India only care about getting the job, 90% of the interviewers only care about the 3 dsa questions they ask to freshers and ask no deep questions about the unique project you have built. How can u impress someone who isn't passionate about engineering themself ??
In an ideal world an interviewer would be excited to learn about any things that we have built by ourselves, but all the interviewers care about is time complexity of your code. Every day that I spend deep diving into new tech stacks and understanding the fascinating tech. is a day that I could have spent practicing dsa because at the end of the day that's what the job market cares for now.
Prepare dsa along with building things(seems difficult but if u have whole day it is feasible)
Was depressed not getting and intern, but bro put the video at the right time
Same here
Thank you! It was great video and I never think in this way. From Now onwards I will be also curious about tech and Build great products to solve real world problems. ❤
Completely true. I always advise my friends to keep building innovative things while they are just looking for interviews and how to crack it.
That's what i think. I loved to explore tech more then coding
I didn't even realise how 26 minutes passed while watching the video.
Great video and great explanation.
Sir video dekh kr 3 idiots repeat hogai.

Most underrated chanell 😢
As a Sr. Developer. I saw many beginners looking for job and they don't have experience and in industry mostly looking for experienced developer. Even i face many issue in getting my first job. Peoples saw the salary of the person but no one see the struggle and dedication of the person. If you have Dedication and will to build something and you have art to showcase your products. so no one can stop you, I used a word Khudas(खुड़स). Jisme Khudas(खुड़स) hai wo hi ye job kr skta h.
Piyush I saw most of your video and your content is awesome. Big Thanks
I am also a sr developer in dy365 crm but i dont know coding . what to do ?
thank you piyush bhai before this video there was no motivation to create projects but still just for fun i used to create simple projects but now i understand what kind of projects i should be building
This is a excellent video ❤️❤️❤️.... Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts ❤️
its true THE CURIOSITY i had got lost when i started looking for jobs, i want that curiosity i had 3 months back, 1 year, 2 year back. Thanks for this video
This is the exact reason I'm not applying for any job despite having finished college several months ago. I know that I'm not competent enough yet and I've a long way to go to actually be a decent Engineer to start applying for a decent and talent caring companies.
Or it could also be that I've some sort of imposter syndrome.
idk man!
Thanks you piyush bro
Now I understand how to reach my goal
This is what many students need it, no body talking about real problems happening with younger students. Thanks Piyush!
This is really an eye opener video.
This video is The Best mentorship session!
I really liked the video. Keep making videos like this
I just explain my complete backend youtube project , by hitesh sir , I crack interview and I really love that time to explain my project and my 90% interview we talk about my project and after 2 hour of interview they call me and say I am selected.
Eye opener for me :D as a Developer, such video constantly strikes my true motive for picking up development, which I surely do forget from time to time, seems like getting DeveloperGita lessons from Lord itself
such a great video piyush... curiosity and passion is everything..... Thanks... 💖
An enlightening video for those considering a career in the technology industry.
I think if we have good projects and show in social media and connects with CTOs and CEOs on X , they offer from there side to please work with us..... You don't need to run behind interview...but condition is you have to build solid skills
it was such a long a long time ago I've liked a yt video genuinely
Thank you so much for this guidance
It's really helpful 🥰
I have seen this too a lot, bs jobs k liye khudko optimize kr lete hain. Vo just interview tk help krega thoda bohot, instead of helping you upskill
Thanks for this new perspective
Thanks brother !❤
great video by you piyush bhaiya 🔥
Superb video,
I just want to add one thing that if people only study for interview and then crack it also, but in the long run it will just not play well because you will not to do great because in tech everytime the problem changes and need new approach.
So if you are curious it will help to really feel the real essence and power of tech and help you to reach real potential.
Which can't be reached if you are just doing this for getting a job.
Started coding yesterday only and this video is in my suggestion . Algorithm is 💯.
Thank you so much brother you opened my eyes❤
16:27 💯💯 very true
Every company has their own CTO, they all have different design and different philosophy towards the architecture of the whole system
Hey Piyush - so rightly said - when you have the power use it responsibly which will also solve a real world problem. Thanks buddy!
Thanks for this video
I have no shame in admitting I am exactly the dev you are speaking about. I self realised this. I cleared the interview and landed a job, but I feel nothing about it. I am lost here. I am anxious. I have absolutely no curiosity. I chased jobs just to survive on the only few sets of skills I am aware of (stressing on "awareness" not depth of knowledge). I knew for a fact, this is something I know better than the skills required for other jobs and turns out to be an industry where there's money too. I lost the curiosity I had in school when I was first introduced to CS. Even for a job now, I am not hungry enough. I am too content with where I have been.
But I want to try to build that curiosity again. I have a job now, just learn and make the best of it. And, the next 1 year just be curious and build without any interview preparation.
Not a single minute wasted in this video. Truely honest and realistic one
So true, Piyush bhaiya! I can't imagine a day without coding or building things. I'm always thinking of new ways to create something, but I haven't quite figured out what exactly will make a real-world impact with my skills. I know I'll find out soon.
Even though I'm just a frontend developer, design and creativity constantly motivate me to build something good and beautiful. After a year, I realized I made the mistake of relying too much on tutorials, but I learned from it. I went back to the basics, ensuring my foundations are strong.
Now, I understand code much better. I often ask myself, 'Why coding?' But the truth is, coding gave me a new life. Without it, my life feels a bit empty. I just love building things. 😇
Building another e commerce?
@@Sibixpur No, buddy, for me, e-commerce is a little boring... I wanted to create an advanced tracking app. 😅
@@sucessdy3999 so basically advanced to do app...sorry bud..untill you create which is actually usefull or unique or complex its not worth it..but if youre in first year then all good ..and grow more in future years
Please make a video on your journey in tech and college life, what did you do back then and everything in between.
Completely understand sir ❤❤
i have always been curious about it. I left my bank job just because i did not want to do repeated work. Nowadays i am struggling just because of my laptop. Development is very very slow on that. But slowly and steadily i am working on a nextjs project thats idea is similar to dating apps.
Plus i am always curious about reading articles.
Thanks Piyush ❤
Thank You so much for you guidence
wonder ful video, wonderful content
Chlo koi toh bola ki her din Naya hai koi repeating job nhi hai 😅😂 after coming from Mechanical industry I think my line is much better than working (IT) here it's just because I don't need to worry.. if tomorrow I will not learn this I will lose my job. 😂 In reality the Mechanical line is far much better if somebody doesn't like to study study study and not have interest in tech. I know I have to study everyday for the rest of my life😅 Many people don't able to accept this. Just listen love songs which eventually make you feel deeper connecting in debugging 😅😅 which I find very intresting and Lovable ❤😅 🎲
Thanks for introducing redis stream
The only RUclips that i can trust blindly
Reality explained, really nice video bro .. ❤
Hey Piyush, I have been following you since 1.5 years, and you have made me fall in love with the backend tech. Ab mai backend tech sirf resume m project bnane kliye ni pdhta....i have tried implementing it on my own, haa bahot baar fail v hua h but theek h, I am getting better day by day. Also i wanted to mention the current situation of mine, I'm a fresh IIT Grad with an offer in hand which not so good, and also my offer was delayed till Nov and abhi tak v koi update nhi h company ki taraf se. So i feel stuckked some time, merse kam skilled or i would se non skilled ya fir jinki knowledge level v merse kam hai, are doing good. Even if they are not doing completely good atleast they are making money out of it and my knowledge or hardwork has not led me anywhere as of now. What is your opinion on this matter, like how should i react to it. Because ye sunne m bahot better lgta h ki jab tumhara time aayega tab You'll rock, but tabtak sablog bahot aage nikal chuke honge right. Please help me on this.
A big Thank you
Thanks you so much sir :)
awesome video with nice content explained
💯💯
First person approach should be basic to all action in life. 👏
there is also an inherent problem with the system or interview process where some really un-skillful people gets hired and other skillful people dont, and I feel thats the major reason for a dar ka mahol and anxiety in newbies
Love You Piyush Bhaiya 🥰😊😁
Only true developers understand him ❤
Really well explain piyush sir ✨
trigger point 11:30
You are an amazing mentor..
Piysh Bhai, the problem I face is that I have a wide range of interests and have explored various fields from 3D modeling to game development, web development, and currently data science. I'm struggling to decide which career path to choose. I'm in my last semester and currently working full-time in web development, but I am considering switching to data science. How can I choose career for myself? You are a true gem and i learned a lot from the your RUclips channel and it's helping me in my current tech job. Love from Nepal ❤.
1 try to know what are the more advance part in it like for eg in AI in the start you can just use tenserflow and some other python lib to get job done but will you be comfortable with the math same find with other thing what is the next level and will you be comfortable with that
2 you can always with some pain in the ass change the role in the company without having exp in that feeld by just talking too others soo dont worry that much
3 think this will be the thing i have to do for the next 30 years (note necessary but just assume ) and then think will i be able to doo it same as will i be able to live with this girl for my hole life
i think this would help and i would say if you have intrust learn everything there are few who have intrust just dont let that intrust die
Sir currently m RTK Query seekh raha hun or is video se pehele bhi m self learning + projects banata tha 💙
Just want to be as humble as him!
Thanks, sahi hai
You are right 👍👍 .
piyush is best !!
I am currently in the pursuit of switching jobs but I am not able to get interview calls
I didnt understood what I was missing
I am curious to some extent but I believe I have procrastinating for building anything
I think I should get out of my confort zone to get better at the craft
Thanks you Piyush I needed that. Aajkal ke developers hanuman ji ho gaye hai jinhe apki shaktiyo ka pata hei nhi hai.
All words are true ❣️
Bhai mujhe is samay last year BCA or me eak unique project per kam ker raha hu which related to my background im almost done even i think this work good and im create almost 15 different pages which like real world aplication
Aap kya build kar rhe ho, kya bata sakte ho. Main BCA 1st year ka student hu, aur main bhi abhi ek problem ke solution k lie ek app build kar rha hu..
Your project is not unique sorry
Can you explain more about it ? I am a full stack developer
15 page doens't means it's gonna be huge lol
You can create a unique project even in two pages app
@@Sibixpur try 15 page project with different functionality then tell same thing ok bro ok I'm lol but I'm satisfied my project current status and my future plann for project
great power comes with great responsibilities
bro spoke the reality !!
Really great video.
great video bhaiya ♥ ♥
Thanks Piyush bhaiya, I always wondered ki yaar introduction me bole to bole kya? Wahi same repetitive line jo sabkoi bolta hai. Now thanks to you! I have good projects to talk about, next time I'll include one of them. 🫡
Ab kuch aur intersting banane ka try karenge
Really helpful video ❤
But bhai ye bhi to cheez hai ki bina choti company me kam kare koi direct real world applications ke solutions kese bana paaega...
This video is great ❤❤
Thank you sir
💯
Love ❤
🙂
thanks piyush
I 100 💯 agree sir 😊
Shayad aapne kuch kar(spark tha to lekin aab actually sparking hogi) diya hai vo bhi i think sahi timing pr thabs
India needs innovation. There no such things like vercel, reddit, chatgpt, docker etc. getting launched from India.
Innovation is done when u are curious or are willing to solve a problem
Running behind a job will not lead to innovation.
my problem is I'm never preparing for interviews and just randomly scratching my own itches :)
Open source contribute karo bhailog.... Bohut kuch sikhoge...ye point piyush bhai ne miss kar diya
Every point is perfect in this video. The only point missing is that you must have some other source of income which gives you financial security.
so, I am on correct path
