How come you went with this set up over chassis mount? I'm also chasing a comfier shift>sportier, so was thinking of your exact setup but with a poly mount + stock shift rod- would love to know how this worked out
I have another video on the Garagistic supreme shifter on the channel and the Garagistic solid mount shifter. Both great choices. For a daily street car would I'd probably go with the supreme. It's a little more oem+. But both would be good for a race car. Would highly recommend the dssr it just get rid of any extra play
@@themaskeddriver for sure, but I ordered the rebuild kit and this video gave me the confidence to finish up my refresh, I was only gonna rebuild the shifter at first and now I have the seals and curil on the way! My trans already has curil in it, and I had 0 clue what it was so it scared me to mess with it thinking it was another gasket to order that I couldn’t find. So once again thank you for the video!

I was trying to see the underside of the transmission whether it has straight line fins (M30 compatible) or crossed.
