  • In September 2023, we were joined by the internationally acclaimed pianist Yuja Wang, for the first edition of Lightroom Live. A Steinway grand piano stood within Lightroom’s vast space, where Yuja performed a repertoire of pieces inspired by David Hockney’s Bigger & Closer (not smaller & further away) across 6 intimate concerts.
If you weren't lucky enough to see these unique concerts last time, Lightroom invites you for a sneak peak into a musical experience unlike any other.
Following her sell-out run in 2023, we’re thrilled to share that Yuja Wang will take over Lightroom once more for 7 shows in September 2024. Tickets are on sale now.

@@MarshallArtz007she played a marvellous Bach c-minor Toccata, some Bach piano concertos as a pianist/conductor, Mozart's "Jeunehomme" - concerto as a pianist/conductor, too, some Beethoven-sonatas (one of the best interpretations of his op.106, a marvellous op.31,3, op.111...)
All Beethoven piano concertos (no.1 and two as a pianist/conductor), Beethoven's triple concerto...
Don't believe this troll who answered on your "question".
He has no clue about music and about Yuja. 🤪

@@michaelschefold3299 1. so, so: the C minor Toccata, but no partitas, no suites, no Goldberg Variations, no "Art of Fugue" (like Trifonov)
2 Mozart wrote 30 piano concertos. How many does Wang play in public?
      3. Wang and op 31.3: Read the reviews of the Viennese newspapers, in Vienna they know something about Beethoven's sonatas. She didn't convince anyone.
      4. Wang's interpretation of op 106 has not been praised by the critics in Europe.
She was occasionally accused of not having understood the work. In the USA, she was recognised as having attempted something difficult. Wang turned the performance of op 106 into a show: At Carnegie Hall, she performed with a long slit dress and bare thighs from foot to hip.
Perhaps it is these images that have permanently clouded your judgement?
