Thank you for doing this, its nice to see how others do these things in video form, the commentary is a nice touch. Speaking of at 2:30 you mention being friends with the faceless yet this time on my playthrough this will be the first time I actively go against them, very weak low tech weapons and low survivability, so I might end up with more CBT in DC, but I'm gonna try to prep for it as best i can.
Going against the faceless on Dom is brutal. I tried once with an epistol build, and although I managed to do it, not getting sneaked on by the gaunts made it an absolute slog. Wouldn’t repeat.
I know the community has complained at length about Deep Caverns gameplay, but what about atmosphere? When I first entered Hollow Earth I was kind of stunned by what I saw, and I became stunned again in a considerably worse way when I found out it was full of infinitely respawning enemies. Like god forbid a zoner take in the vibe, right? Surely I'm not the only person who thinks Caerus Residential would be cooler if it was filled with something more interesting than 1 million copy pasted zappy boys.
I do remember my first impression of the Deep Caverns being pretty scuffed, due to how stressed out I was all the time. Once I adjusted to the Caverns' mechanics, the overall atmosphere really started to sink in, so much so that by now it has grown to be one of my most favourite areas in the whole game. Deep Caverns may demand acquired taste - all of Underrail is arguably like that - but at least a way to enjoy that oppressive place does exist (generic coil spiders are indeed kind of lame, though I personally dont mind their presence).
2:17 yeah I definitely knew that. I definitely did not put all of my leftover skill points into persuasion on every single build I've ever made for the sole purpose of making deep caverns easier.
Wouldn't the sonocaster from the Nexus of Technology break walls faster at a fraction of the weight? I noticed it can destroy walls and rocks, so I was thinking of taking that down to DC instead of the jackhammer because its so light.
You know, my love for this game peaked when I brutally bullied the seething IRIS. The satisfaction was off the roof. Definitely the highlight of DC for me. Get dominated you schizo AI
I think deep caverns isn't bad on replays (you only need to backtrack once really) and I think arke/caerus has cool lore blurbs, but by god is it mega unintuitive in a blind run lol, or even what to power first isn't clear. How tf one is supposed to guess you're supposed to get high on shrooms to finish this area is a mystery to me. Also high persuasion makes tchortlings basically impossible to spawn, I finished it without a single tchortling spawning in on my psi build. Also quest items shouldn't have a weight idc how unrealistic it is I don't wanna haul things twice. to that damn gate.
Red Dragon I'd say, due to the absurd critical damage bonus. Refurbished K&H KH416 is also really strong, but not quite broken. Other closest candidates - XAL, Tommy Gun, Ref. Rancour, etc. - are far too situational to be considered OP.
@@altermann634 I just finished hard oddity difficulty, was planning on starting dom oddity with unique weapons but I don’t think I will use melee lol, and I dislike ar so I might do pure psi, gun fu or smg will see And thanks!
Haschel could only be legendary! Anyway, anybody who plays Underrail on Dom without decent Hacking and Electronics should go to a shrink to cure their masochism.
I'm not at liberty to reveal anything about the build. You will see it in action in about a week or so (hopefully).
Sure thing
*autism intensifies*

Good luck in the DC. I have no doubt you'll make it, but do be prepared to load a lot, just in case xd

@@adolfolerito6744 Yea that's not fun. I've found the only reasonable solution for this is to be a tank and straight up ignore the Gaunts lol
It always amuses me to see the blinking quest book in the corner with triple digits when an Underrail vet posts a video.

My most enjoyed area of the game
23:53 Not using EK here disturbs the force.
This build's weak ass 10 Will EK is too embarrassing to use...
I'm seeing that you begin with Faceless side or something like that. What are one's options if one do not have access to their camp ?
Visiting their base is purely optional and I only went there to demonstrate a minor visual glitch, so just skip it.
i want more videos like this
I'll probably be doing something similar in the future, but no promises

Sure, you've got a point, but why would I willingly deprive myself of the soothing jackhammer asmr? ruclips.net/video/dsyQcX4mIvw/видео.html
Why is jackhammer asmr a thing😅

The first time is pretty rough, I can't remember enjoying any of what DC had to offer on my first playthrough. It's something of an acquired taste.
also, das war ma richtig hilfreich. Vielen Dank!
What would you say is the most broken unique weapon? I always use crafting since it’s always superior sadly
